Updates!

Hello everyone!

Sorry for being too carried away with my activities during this hols. Although i have a whole lot of time to blog, i chose to prioritize other things first. haha.

Firstly, i had my first ever job at Suntec Convention Centre during the Bookfest 2007 event. Being inexperienced in this working world, i had applied the job thru Kelly Services, which is totally unneccessary. So that means 20% of my pay gone to them. hai.. nvm. Other than that, it was a beneficial experience as a Popular staff. For ur info, it was only a 2 weeks stint. The first 3days was quite tiring cos we need to arrange the products and do the stocking. Since the opening of the event, my job was such a breeze.. really! We were supposed to stand around and wait to ans any customer's queries. I was in charge of the multimedia department and since many companies such as Samsung, Philips, Brothers, Creative etc came down to set up their own booth to sell their products, the customers can go directly to the respective promoters to inquire. Thus we were just stoning one corner, watching free movies from their latest LCD screens. haha! nice.

Of cos there were some irritating customers who will come up to us and complain about the prices. Another type is the bitchy ones. haha. and surprisingly, im not referring to aunties or ladies, but a small boy! hahaha. I wont elaborate it any further cos it will be a very long story.

Anw, I made alot of friends, and unsurprisingly, they are mostly younger than me cos they are waiting for their O's results. I feel so old, man. However, it did help abit cos many thought i was 16 cos i didnt look like 18. haha! nice one.

Experience-wise, i did almost every job available during the event, except for cashier. I did the stocking, packing and unpacking, arranging, pushing cartons, answering queries, assistant cashier(the one who will pack the customer's products) and collecting pellets. So in other words, im an effective worker! ehem2.

Oh ya! not forgetting.. guessed what is the record i've seen a customer spent at a single payment? S$6,800 man! freakin crazy. i tell u what he bought.. hundreds of PSP games! Business i guess. But still.. it is crazy.

Since the end of this work stint, i've been quite hardworking going for fitness trainings. haha. More and more soccer and swimming. Gym not yet lah dey. Really soon. i've been going for swimming 3 days in a row now. Technique-wise, im so much better now. Fitness-wise.. erm.. still can be improved. haha. I felt i was in my top form after such a long time in soccer last tuesday. I think i played significantly better in futsal compared to street soccer. Field match will be the best though. Therefore i conclude sumthin: The bigger the playing area, the better i play. More friendly matches please!

Anw, i wonder how my friends are doing in NS right now for those who are enlisted in dec. Im sure they are having a whole lot of fun there. haha. but seriously.. NS will be fun if u look at the positive side. Live Firing, BMT-ing, learning the arts of war and strategic defence and attack. Everything seems so exciting with the whole new experience. But one thing for sure.. i can't wait to see those who i can't imagine being botak, botak for once. haha.

N0t to forget, A level results is nearing. If im nt wrong, it will be released in the early of feb. Im excited but nervous in the same time. I've a fair share of good and bad dreams about it and im nt sure which one to believe in. Please let this be good.

I had a soccer match against a team consists of JJCians ppl last thursday, after being informed by Ismarian to play for his team. Basically his team consists of PJC J1s and some sec sch students. Lost 5-6, and from that scoreline.. you can see for urself that it was such a goal glut game. However, i should not complain much cos we played hard and made a great attempt for a comeback after being trailed 0-3 in the first half. Quite satisfied with my own performance cos i did scored 2 goals and assists the other 2, and not to forget the last one which came from an own goal from their keeper.

Anyway, i wanna send my sincere apologies to the team for missing the last-minute penalty which could end up a draw and also being a bit to harsh towards the team. Although i didnt know the team well, i did make some good frens along the way and i was quite happy the way the team pushed on to give them a strong fight.

Besides that, i went for the RSAF talk this morning at Raffles City Convention Centre. I thought it was quite interesting, especially the talk from LT James Kee, a helicopter pilot, who described vividly about his journey in becoming a pilot. And you what... i've sign up for RSAF! One thing for sure which convinced me to do so was, they said that once we graduated from a pilot in RSAF, we can move on to commercial pilot! I've been longing to know that! Hopefully.. just hopefully, i'll make the cut. Insyaallah.

Wait.. i think my blog is lacking with pictures and videos. Do you think so? There's so much words man!

A-levels: IM DONE!!

Finally, after 2 years' of sweat, tears and blood.. Im done with my A's! haha. wait.. not to that extent lah. But seriously.. im so relieved that its over! You know.. Being in JC can be so unbearable if things are not going your way.. alhamdullilah, everythin was quite smooth for me throughout that period.

Anw, A levels was ok i guess. GP was 50-50. im nt sure wat i wrote for the essay. "History of Singapore". Explains that..
Math, Mly lit and Phy were so much better. Although mly lit was abit different from what we used to practise in sch.
Chem was a little bit difficult for me. Well.. actually thats not surprising since my chem has always been not good since secondary school.

Since i've tried my best, i will just hope it will turn out good. Because i will be lost if i didnt make it to university. and if god wills, i want to enter Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering in NTU. That will be nice... Insyaallah.

I don't think i've said this during my previous entries before, but im enlisted for NS on the 9th of April nxt yr! so late man.. Don't ask me whether im joining the Army, Police or Civil Defence coz i myself not sure. haha. REALLY. and why in the world do i need to go for the 2nd medical checkup?! seriously no answer to that. nvm.

Anyway, recently i received this RSAF letter. wow! i was excited of cos. I thought i was confirmed chosen intially, but when i read further on, it is an invitation for their talk. haha. chey... but i think im going for it. You never know when ur opportunity will come. So, im trying my luck to get any tips there. haha.

Besides all these, im free after the A's ended. Abit TOO free i can say. That is why im trying to get a job soon. Someone offered me a job as a malay instructor, teaching malay language to Chinese and Tamil students. On the other hand, there's currently a job at Ritz-Carlton Hotel as *erm* not sure. I prefer a customer service job where i can relate with new people everyday. Let's see how it goes.

Recently, last friday to be exact, my cousin's malaysian granddad died of old age in Pontian. Although i didnt knew him that well, i was grateful that he has taken care well of my family's land property there. I was there on wednesday and thursday and he was in an unconscious state. I held his hand. It was cold and he was having difficulty in breathing. I pitied his condition but i can't do much. All i do was praying. just before i left for Singapore, i had a last look at him and deep inside, i knew that will be my last time seeing him alive. True enough, around 4.30am, my dad woke me up and told me he had just passed away. May god bless his soul. Amin. You know.. he's the one who taught me the skill of slaughtering a chicken. I think it will come in a handy one day.

The upcoming most-look-forward event. GradNite. Well, i havent bought anythin yet for it but this time, im sure im not goin to repeat the same mistake like i did back in CCKSS. I wont plan last-min for what i wanna wear, i wont wear oversized blazer, and i hopefully, my hair will be in a much better shape, for ONCE! You know.. i always dream of wearing what taufik batisah used to wear for most of his performances. PURE WHITE. i think wearing white is cool man! but of cos no budget ah to wear it. its ok.. i'll look for improvisation.

Wake Me Up When September Ends

I can't help it but to blog, AGAIN.. (banyak masa sungguh eh ko khai). Just wanna a say a big thanks for those who send their regards and well-wishes. Terharu saye.... :)

Sempena hari jadiku terletak dalam bulan yang suci ini, aku nak make full use keistimewaannye.

1. Pass my A levels with flying colours (insyaallah..)
2. Getting into a local university (tak nak menyusahkan mak bapak aku lah blajar luar negeri)
3. Menjadi seorang anak yg mithali kpd ibubapa (bkn aku jahat budaknye.. cumer nak jadi lebih baik)
4. Menolong ibu di pasar (ni mesti.. raye nak dekat!)
5. Kemas segala document aku yang berserak rabak macam reban ayam
6. Read more books ( buku yang slalu bace aku.. bkn aku bace dorang)
7. Baju raye pakai last year nye tak perlu beli baru (1st day jelah nmpknye beraye)
8. Menjadi abang yang bertanggungjawab kpd adik2nye
9. Find a job after A's ( sebagai abg, perlulah sumbang kpd financial keluarga)
10. Mengeratkan lagi tali siraturrahim dgn sahabat2ku yg lamer ku tak jumpe
11. Mengatam Al-Quran untuk kali kedua (hai.. kalau aku lebih rajin last time kan baik gitu)
12. Menjadi seorang imam yang lebih baik (sudah sekian lama ku tk menghafal surah2 baru)
13. Terus mengejar impianku untuk menjadi juruterbang (susah tu mmg susah.. tapi kene berusaha)
14. Pegi gym (workout untuk kebaikan sendiri.. sedikit sebanyak badan mcm Kaka dah orite lah.. haha..)
15. Part of the NSmen soocer first-team. (rabak khai.. siang2 dah pikir NS)
16. If given opportunity, pursue further to play club level (insyaallah kalau aku tidak disuruh main goalkeeper)
17. Mendapat tab guitar lagu TERKINI(main guitar pon lagu2 zaman dulu beb.. retro.. ni lah kes blajar dari ayahku)
18. Last nye aderlah.. untuk aku tau sendiri

So, thats my 18 wishes for my 18th birthday!.. dah tue bangke aku ni. tak lamer lagi dah 81thn, cucu dah keliling mendengar cerita zaman remaja aku.. So, kenelah zaman remaje aku ni dicorak dgn pencapaian2 dan pengalaman2 menarik supaya aku dpt kongsi kpd dorang2 tu. Insyaallah.. yang penting berusaha..

klah, sebelom ku pergi membawa diri menjejak langkah ke medan peperangan A levels yang semakin hampiri ini, marilah kite renungi bersama-sama zaman nostalgik ku bagaimana aku dibesarkan hingga ke hari ini.

Mawi belajar dari aku sebenarnye membotakkan kepala.

Ni masa aku dah pandai naik kereta roda ni.. Zaman inilah aku menjadi seorang pembunuh melenggek segala anak2 kucing yang aku nampak.

Ni sebenarnye aku baru dpt lari dari penjara.. tapi kene masuk dlm lockup balek. Alah.. mcm cite Prison Break tu.. dorang buat psl kehidupan aku actually.

Ni plak semasa aku 6thn.. time semangat Hang Tuah.. Pernah ku perform di khalayak ramai dgn berpakaian ini dan menonjolkan ilmu silat aku yg tak seberape tu.. Kerisku plak dibuat khas dari cardboard.. Kalau korang nak tau, aku dpt 2nd dlm competition tu. not bad eh.

Oh.. ni plak semasa aku dpt lesson pertamaku di Desaru. Actually kakiku tak sampai menekan pedalnye so aku letak bag at my behind. Pandai kan aku..

Aaah.. ni maser zaman menengah. Aku digelar 'budak seluar ketat' kerana nak saved duit tak nak beli seluar baru walaupun kaki aku tu dah besar mcm pokok pisang. Maklumlah.. sampai skarang aku masih cycle ke skolah.. camne kaki aku tk grow.. haha. Yang hairannye, ramai plak peminat tat time.. taklah hansem sgt kan.. tak tau lah..
