An Unforgettable Journey

You know what? This is my 101th post since i started blogging. Wow! I can't believe i had been writing so much for the past 2 years.

I read my old post, started in 2004 till now, and it makes me realize how much i experienced and matured throughout this short period of my life. Espeically in sec 4, i recalled the memories when my CCKSS soccer team made a such great feat, levelled with the 1999 CCKS batch, qualifying for the Quarter-Finals. The Big Walk competition in which my team play-cheated and eventually won the 22nd position. And last but not the least, the memories with her. (",) Till this day, i still saved up the msn conversations we had in this computer. That's why i can't afford to reboot this com. The memories really meant so much to me. Its nice to see and recalled back those days when i tried to tackle and win her heart. Funny though if i recalled carefully, because we rarely met each other. Even in school i was very shy to see her face-to-face. Although we are physically distance away from each other, inside me, she is very close to my heart. Somehow, there's always this feeling that she is the one meant for me. :)

However, there are bad memories too. Although it is not nice to recall those memories, i made hyphotesis, gambled, and learnt the best way to handled those setbacks, problems and pressures. The memories about the things i juggled and struggled during my sec 4 education. My amath which used to fail all the time up till to my prelims and still never gave up, and eventually getting an A2 for it. The disappointment for being the most 'OUTstanding' student in my class, making my form teacher, Mrs Phillip to suffer high blood pressure because of me. haha. Those were the days.

For now, i just need to focus on the path ahead of me. There are more exciting things to be unvealed and im very optimistic about it. I hope it will be a good one for me.

Rugby Trials ( But Soccer is still my first priority!)

Before i start on today's post, i would like to thank 'passerby' for all the advices he/she had given me. I'm very grateful. I really hope that you will tell me your identity. =) Thanks so much. Aniway, i decided to move on. Although my heart still meant for her, i can't do anything more. God knows better and i just want Him to do whats best for me. Perhaps, if fated, we will be together again. Insyaallah. But for now, we are friends. (",)

Anyway, today was my first rugby trial in PJC. It was great though. I was expecting it to be tough, and it did happened. hai. We had our 4.8km run otuside PJC, running past CCKSS, CCK park, CCK stadium, behind the longkang and back to PJC. There were CCKSS track n field and netball players who were too running towards the CCK park. Yes, i do hope to see her jogging too. haha. But too bad. Never see her.

So, when we finally reached back PJC, we had to cover 800m more, 2 times around the track. BUT, you know what we need to do on the same time? We had to jog and carry the 3 heaviest people( the 3 last runners in the 4.8km run) on 3 separate stretchers. I was instructed to carry this 110kg guy along with 5 other people. It was soo tiring, but as a wise man says, " no pain, no gain." haha. Good for me.

We practised on the passing of the rugby ball( not easy you know, need to spin it too), formations, and yes, the right way to bring down your opponent. The training something like this; you become the victim first. run with the ball charges towards the guy who is going to brought you down. Accelerate towards him. And let him ' spear' you. It happened again and again. Yes, it hurts alot especially if you're a beginner.

Lastly, we had our game. 15-a-side. My team won by 1-0( im nt sure about the points given for touchdown.. haha. but we only scored one goal)

AND YOU KNOW WHO SCORED THAT?

ME!

yeah. it such was a great feeling to score my first goal in my rugby debut. Woohoo! Win with that goal somemore. haha. I sprinted past 4 opponents before i made my touchdown. Stylo ah. =p

No matter what, soccer is still my first priority. The coach asked me to join rugby but i prefer to wait for the approval of my proposal about setting up soccer. yeah.. HIDUP MATI soccer!

Big Laugh For The Big Loser

It is the end. Im opening a new chapter of my life. I admit I made the stupidest mistake and make a fool of myself. If only i could turn back the time, i won't make such rash decisions and break her heart. If only..

In the end, dream is just a dream.

Aku redha. Sesungguhnya ada hikmah disebaliknya.

Selamtz.

Finale Night Of Orientation ' 06

hiya everybody!

Well basically, i just had a very fantastic week! The 5 days PJC Orientation was a huge success.
We had our finale events happening on friday so i guess, i just explain to you' ll about the events and activities happening on that day itself.

Early in the morning, i had already created some problems for the displinary committee. Guess what i did? Yeah, for those who know me well, i was LATE for school. haha. i was merely 10m from the gate when it shut closed. Luckily, that was my first time. AND alright, i make sure i won't be late again. Promise. I mean for school only ah. haha. =P

The day kicked off with alot of talks in the morning so i wont go into detail about that. Talk: IT resources, multi-media resources and CT Time. Right after the break, we had our songs & cheers.

Btw, i was chosen to be one of the performers, representing my house 'NOBEL' for the campfire. So right after my friday prayers, i was told to report to the grandstand for the practice session. Why i am telling you this? Because this will help me to explain why i lost my cross-country. haha.

I don't know what they doing in this pic coz i was away doing my friday prayers. But seems, they were enjoying without me! haha. wasted man.

We were practising it for almost 1 hour and immediately after that, all PJCians was told to report to the Parade Square for our warm-ups, to get ready for the Cross-Country. It was blazing hot man! 3pm in the afternoon and my spirit hampened so much. With the gruelling last minute dance practice, doing those break-dancing moves, my legs were dead tired. I was telling myself, if i do get the top 20, it would be my biggest achievement in my life. Why?

  • Firstly, if i calculate it correctly, the last time i run competitively was like 6 months ago!
  • Secondly, usually before every Cross-Country events during my secondary school days, i was quite prepared few days before. eating those carbohydrate foods, drink plenty of water and sleep well. This time, my focus was more on getting prepared for my campfire performance.
  • Lastly, my mentality up there still not tuned properly. Still in happy mood mah. haha. the feeling inside was like ' heck care lah!'.

So, i did what we supposed to. running a 4.5 km distance at the longkang behind our school, came out behind Ten Mile Junction and run back uphill along Teck Whye Road. 300m short than my CCKSS Cross-Country race.

Can you see me running?

So, my final position, 25th! And only those who are in the top 20 get a medal. 5 more people to overtake and i would have been up there, gloriously claiming my medal. haha. but what to do? No doubt, PJCians have many good runners. Especially those rugby players. Fit to the core man! They should consider setting up Track And Field. Confirm can win.

It ended with the prize-giving ceremony and to my surprise, NOBEL house was 2nd! Losing to DARWIN house by few points. I was expecting bottom three among the 6 houses. haha. nearly repeat the same surprise victory of my ORION in Millenia Institute. wasted. haha.

Me and my OG members during prize-presentation ceremony.

We were given some time after that for our dinner and wash up, before getting ready for the campfire. I was siiting with my OG members eating dinner when i was called up to practise for my dance AGAIN at the grandstand! Come to think of it, i was not prepared for the dance skit so chop chop, we practise again and i missed the first few parts of the campfire.

Campfire finally starts!

When finally it was our turn to perform, BAD NEWS came! The AVA lost our CD, containing our songs for our performance! We were using " Dirty Little Secrets' by ' All American Rejects' and luckily for us, one of my friends had that song in his hp and we used it. Overall, our performance was quite good. Especially when we still need to overcome that kind of setbacks.

I was waving my NOBEL flag up there. Go Nobel go!

We cheered, danced, sing songs throughout the whole night. Wow! I truly enjoyed it man! Nothing can describe my feeling. haha. I finnally reached home around 11pm. My body ached the whole night seh. Luckily for me, i can sleep well with those unforgettable memories playing in my mind. (",)

Pioneer Junior College - While I live, I learn

Today marked my first day in Pioneer Junior College, the 5th choice institution in my list of choice. Well, frankly speaking, i was disappointed at first, for not getting the likes of AJC and ACJC, which were my 1st and 2nd choice respectively. But, that feeling was fast vanished as i figured out the several advantages i would get if i go for PJC.

The short distance time, the transport cost( i can use my bike!), i can wake up a lil bit late in the morning and i would have alot of my primary and secondary school friends there!

But the biggest disadvantage; NO SOCCER AS CCA!!!

Actually that doesn't matters much to me, firstly, because i have that strong feeling that they would set up soccer as CCA soon if we appeal for it, and, my instincts never lie. Really. hehe.

Secondly, its only one and a half years more to go for my stinct in PJC. It is a very short time. I can bear with it. haha. Do you think so? =p

Aniway, get back to my story, i do think that PJCians are one nice bunch of nice and caring people. I feel so much at home; the environment, the enthuasism among the students, the facilities. Ouh yar, talking about the facilities, the lights in the washrooms are automated. Once we enter, the lights are automatically switched on. haha. I never experienced such things in CCKSS seh.

Again, for the 2nd time this year, there are no Malays in my OG. huhu. Do i look like Chinese to you all? Even in MI, my race was ' Chinese' as listed in the class list. But luckily, im fine with that. Im sociable man. Any different types of people i mix around with. No problem with that. haha. Even when i was in 4/9 last year, there were only 2 malay boys, Me and Haikal. But somehow, im still able to settle down well. haha. Chey!

Basically, nothing much for me today, the first half of the day we had our Principal's Address and subject talks. After that School Tour. Consultation. Break. OG Cheers. End of the day. haha. That's all, really! Im just looking forward for the next 4 days. im sure its going to be fun. Friday got campfire you see! And the one i didnt look forward most to, which is on Friday too, Annual Cross-Country! So fast seh. IM not going to run this time. he.. he... he.
