The Time Is Near

I had my first prelim paper today, General Paper... and no comments for that. All i can say is that my paper 1 is fine, but im a lil bit worry if my essay goes out of track. Compre was quite difficult but my time management is better compared to the past. haha. So... nothing to be proud of actually.

So my next paper will be on the 10th of Sept onwards. Which means i have only a week more to study.. and exactly 2 months away from my A Levels! It's very scary to realize that my 2 years in JC had passed very quickly. I doesn't even have the time to appreciate it. Everyday, my routine has always been the same. Wake at 6.30am, bathe, pray, eat breakfast, go school, lessons all the way to 4 in average, night study in sch(if gt mood) till 8, reach home, eat dinner, check email, do some work and sleep. And this cycle continues. Well, actually this process only started a month ago. Before that, especially last year, i would reach home late from hockey trainings and the schedule would end up the same as now.

In addition to that, my social life is quite affected while im in JC. The only time im able to spend time with my sec sch friends is during Saturday. Well, we'll just kick around the ball and crap while waiting for 'next team'(correct anot Taufiq? haha). Really miss the old times man. Sometimes i wonder why i didnt just join them in poly in the first place. Life would be much more simpler and less complicated i guess. I will be able to play street soccer everyday, join the poly's soccer team, look out for chicks(erm! khai khai.. aper nak jadi ngan kau..), hangout, play pool, counterstrike, go gym and the list goes on. Come to think of it, i would be much more happier if im in poly. Poly life is great and im sure i will perfectly fit into the system. But i chose JC for one particular reason. The one which i've been hold on to for a long time.

To become a pilot. That's it. Cannot see the link? Well, let me explain. A well-paid pilot needs to have a degree. In order to have it, i have to go to uni. can see now? haha. good. as simple as that. REALLY.

My perspective of life is that we must aim high and push ourselves to the limit. We'll never know our potential as long as we enjoy the simple life's pleasure. Sometimes it is good to go out of our confort zones and try on other things. That is why i so far i took every opportunity that is available for me. Personally, i've been trying to follow that life motto as close as possible. But of course, as an adventurous and ever-courious teenager like any other, im still the Khairul Ruzaini you know of who enjoys every single moment of his life. Im saying all this partly because i was inspired by some people i've met in life, for example, recently, Doctor William Tan made an inspiring talk to PJCians last week during assembly. He is one good example that we need to follow and to be proud of. And also not to forget, Ikram from the novel 'Restu' too. hahaha. (Don't understand? Go read the novel!) Therefore, im not saying that poly life is laid-back or whatsoever. Don't get me wrong ok? Poly life is best, same goes to JC. whatever it is, make full use of it. To cut things short:

APPRECIATE LIFE'S SIMPLE PLEASURE + AIM HIGH
= ENJOY LIFE!

Damn.. why i explain so long man when this mathematical equation explains everything. haha.

One of the few moments in PJC that i made a fool of myself. haha. Im not lembut! Itu semua reakaan semata-mata!

National Day Break.. Nice.

Life is fine so far.

Stress starts to build up. Which is good.
Without stress, we won't be pushing ourselves. Assuming everyday is Sunday that is.

Tests are coming up very fast and furious. Which is good.
Without tests, we won't be able to tell whether we had master certain topics and understand the concepts fully.

Revision and Practice Papers are coming in everyday. Which is good.
Without revision, we solely tend to read through the lecture notes, thinking we have studied, which is not.

English Premier League is starting from this weekend onwards. Which is NOT good.
It will distracts me and waste at least 2 hours every week. (If i decide to watch Man Utd match only, which is not always the case)

Friendly matches are creeping into my weekends. Which is NOT good.
Soccer matches makes me tire fast and sleep for additional hours = less time to study.

GCE A Levels in 83 days' time. Which is NOT good.
You know that i know that everyone knows time is going to fly very fast.

Today's National Day Celebration in school was a bore. The performance is more like Racial Harmony Day with dances from different ethic groups. And the sing-along songs were very limited. They played the new ones instead of the classics. Because of that, nobody was in the mood to sing along. I was just looking forward to play soccer after that.
To add on, Al-Function team is set to play against PJC Soccer Team this sat. wow.. interesting isn't it? For the first time, im going to play against my own school. A goal from me will be nice though. But one problem: I got a new injury, actually not really new bcos it bothers me only recently when actually it has longed since last year. I think it has something to do with my right metartesal bone. There's always a sharp pain in my right toe everytime i tonjol(toe-poked in Malay) the ball. Well-known footballers like Rooney and Beckham all experienced this before. Hai.. this is the problem when you play too much soccer.

Alright, Happy 42th National Day to all!
