Book Review

This is another inspiring book i greatly recommend!

The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho.

For those beginners or in malay terms, baru nak berjinak-jinak, in reading, like me, in reading books.. this is a book for you.

Generally this book is about the greatness of life and personal goals. Everyone has different perspectives in life. Some of us are ambitious, some are contented the way their lives turned out to be, and some dislikes it. Whatever it is, we have our own ambitions and goals in life. There's surely something that u want greatly. Its about dreams and living up to it.

This book focuses on Santiago, a sherperd who dreams to see the world. He is an optimistic guy, independent, patient, hardworking, willing to sacrifice for his goals and strives when pressure builds up. I do believe in order to do that, we do need such characteristics like him.

I find it useful and inspiring for those who needs some motivation in life. As somebody used to say to me before, "Without goals in life, we are as good as a living dead". We need dreams so that we have something to aim for and work towards it.

There's this particular phrase which caught my eyes.

"You must understand that love never keeps a man from pursuing his Personal Legend. If he abandons that pursuit, it's because it wasn't true love... the love that speaks the Language of the World"

Hmm..
