Finale Night Of Orientation ' 06

hiya everybody!

Well basically, i just had a very fantastic week! The 5 days PJC Orientation was a huge success.
We had our finale events happening on friday so i guess, i just explain to you' ll about the events and activities happening on that day itself.

Early in the morning, i had already created some problems for the displinary committee. Guess what i did? Yeah, for those who know me well, i was LATE for school. haha. i was merely 10m from the gate when it shut closed. Luckily, that was my first time. AND alright, i make sure i won't be late again. Promise. I mean for school only ah. haha. =P

The day kicked off with alot of talks in the morning so i wont go into detail about that. Talk: IT resources, multi-media resources and CT Time. Right after the break, we had our songs & cheers.

Btw, i was chosen to be one of the performers, representing my house 'NOBEL' for the campfire. So right after my friday prayers, i was told to report to the grandstand for the practice session. Why i am telling you this? Because this will help me to explain why i lost my cross-country. haha.

Image hosting by Photobucket

I don't know what they doing in this pic coz i was away doing my friday prayers. But seems, they were enjoying without me! haha. wasted man.

We were practising it for almost 1 hour and immediately after that, all PJCians was told to report to the Parade Square for our warm-ups, to get ready for the Cross-Country. It was blazing hot man! 3pm in the afternoon and my spirit hampened so much. With the gruelling last minute dance practice, doing those break-dancing moves, my legs were dead tired. I was telling myself, if i do get the top 20, it would be my biggest achievement in my life. Why?

  • Firstly, if i calculate it correctly, the last time i run competitively was like 6 months ago!
  • Secondly, usually before every Cross-Country events during my secondary school days, i was quite prepared few days before. eating those carbohydrate foods, drink plenty of water and sleep well. This time, my focus was more on getting prepared for my campfire performance.
  • Lastly, my mentality up there still not tuned properly. Still in happy mood mah. haha. the feeling inside was like ' heck care lah!'.

So, i did what we supposed to. running a 4.5 km distance at the longkang behind our school, came out behind Ten Mile Junction and run back uphill along Teck Whye Road. 300m short than my CCKSS Cross-Country race.

Image hosting by Photobucket

Can you see me running?

So, my final position, 25th! And only those who are in the top 20 get a medal. 5 more people to overtake and i would have been up there, gloriously claiming my medal. haha. but what to do? No doubt, PJCians have many good runners. Especially those rugby players. Fit to the core man! They should consider setting up Track And Field. Confirm can win.

It ended with the prize-giving ceremony and to my surprise, NOBEL house was 2nd! Losing to DARWIN house by few points. I was expecting bottom three among the 6 houses. haha. nearly repeat the same surprise victory of my ORION in Millenia Institute. wasted. haha.

Me and my OG members during prize-presentation ceremony.

We were given some time after that for our dinner and wash up, before getting ready for the campfire. I was siiting with my OG members eating dinner when i was called up to practise for my dance AGAIN at the grandstand! Come to think of it, i was not prepared for the dance skit so chop chop, we practise again and i missed the first few parts of the campfire.

Campfire finally starts!

When finally it was our turn to perform, BAD NEWS came! The AVA lost our CD, containing our songs for our performance! We were using " Dirty Little Secrets' by ' All American Rejects' and luckily for us, one of my friends had that song in his hp and we used it. Overall, our performance was quite good. Especially when we still need to overcome that kind of setbacks.

I was waving my NOBEL flag up there. Go Nobel go!

We cheered, danced, sing songs throughout the whole night. Wow! I truly enjoyed it man! Nothing can describe my feeling. haha. I finnally reached home around 11pm. My body ached the whole night seh. Luckily for me, i can sleep well with those unforgettable memories playing in my mind. (",)

Pioneer Junior College - While I live, I learn

Today marked my first day in Pioneer Junior College, the 5th choice institution in my list of choice. Well, frankly speaking, i was disappointed at first, for not getting the likes of AJC and ACJC, which were my 1st and 2nd choice respectively. But, that feeling was fast vanished as i figured out the several advantages i would get if i go for PJC.

The short distance time, the transport cost( i can use my bike!), i can wake up a lil bit late in the morning and i would have alot of my primary and secondary school friends there!

But the biggest disadvantage; NO SOCCER AS CCA!!!

Actually that doesn't matters much to me, firstly, because i have that strong feeling that they would set up soccer as CCA soon if we appeal for it, and, my instincts never lie. Really. hehe.

Secondly, its only one and a half years more to go for my stinct in PJC. It is a very short time. I can bear with it. haha. Do you think so? =p

Aniway, get back to my story, i do think that PJCians are one nice bunch of nice and caring people. I feel so much at home; the environment, the enthuasism among the students, the facilities. Ouh yar, talking about the facilities, the lights in the washrooms are automated. Once we enter, the lights are automatically switched on. haha. I never experienced such things in CCKSS seh.

Again, for the 2nd time this year, there are no Malays in my OG. huhu. Do i look like Chinese to you all? Even in MI, my race was ' Chinese' as listed in the class list. But luckily, im fine with that. Im sociable man. Any different types of people i mix around with. No problem with that. haha. Even when i was in 4/9 last year, there were only 2 malay boys, Me and Haikal. But somehow, im still able to settle down well. haha. Chey!

Basically, nothing much for me today, the first half of the day we had our Principal's Address and subject talks. After that School Tour. Consultation. Break. OG Cheers. End of the day. haha. That's all, really! Im just looking forward for the next 4 days. im sure its going to be fun. Friday got campfire you see! And the one i didnt look forward most to, which is on Friday too, Annual Cross-Country! So fast seh. IM not going to run this time. he.. he... he.

Clash Of The Titans

So many events happening for the past one week. wow!. I enjoyed it.. very much.

Firstly, South East Asian Champions vs West Asian Champions.
Singapore vs Iraq. Win 2-0!

I was one of the 10,000 spectators there at Kallang National Stadium. Thanks to Lalitha, the daugther to the manager of Maxcell, which sponsered the Lions, who is my classmate in MI, i was able to get 18 FREE tickets for the match. Grandstand somemore!

Wow! isn't that great? She even promised me to give soccer tickets for any future Lion's matches. Nice.
To make full use of the tickets, i called up my CCKSS friends to join me, and of 9 them joined me.
Hafiz, Taufiq, Syafiq, Rashid, Firdaus, Fhaizal, Amin, Hazriq and Zhi Sheng.

See those names? Yes, once they get along with each other, you know what happened next at the stadium itself.
We seated at the back row of the grandstand and there was this malay uncle seating in front of us. He was cursing the way the Lions play. The Lions were playing too defensively and he was frustrated you see, and he was criticising Noh Alam Shah especially, screaming to Raddy to take him out. We were quite annoyed with his behaviour and these friends of mine sacarstically supporting him everytime he said something.
Eg.
Uncle: Oi!! Keluarkan Alam Shah lah!!( Oi! take Alam Shah out lah!)
My friends( including me actually. haha.): Kami Sokong!! ( we support!!)

Yes, EVERYTIME he said something, we will stand, punching to the sky and shout, " Kami Sokong!!" He was quite amused by our reactions. And yar, we did that to stop him from shouting out unneccesarily. That's my intention lah. I don't know about the others. Maybe they just want to disturb that uncle. haha.

So, that's what happen on Wednesday.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Today.

One of my best ever form at The Function Hall.

Our team was unbeatable for 8 games at first. And we were booted out after our energy really dried out.
When we come in after tat, we were unbeatable for the next 6 games. wow!. nice man.

And you know what??
I scored most of my goals with my HEAD!
wow! for the first time in my life, i feel that my head is much more effective then my legs to score. haha.
And there's one time i did a bicycle kick and accidentally kick the wrong ball. You know what i mean. right Hafiz? haha.

klah, i wanna sleep. tommorrow still got match. and my right hamstring still injured. hai. its irritating man. take care everyone. Selamtz!

To Mahira: Yeah.. im in MI tock tuck now while waiting for the JAE posting. hai. still need to go sch seh.
To Vivian: Im popular??.. haha. nolah. once in a blue moon only many different ppl tagged my tagboard. haha.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Anyway, last tuesday, which was the Valentine's day, i encountered my greatest and worse experience in my life. Wait2! before you think any further, i did not have a date with any girls ok? undertand? ok.. good.

I finally had my first ever ice-skating experience at Jurong Central. nice man. the feeling, the experience, the repetitive falls, the accidents i had; bumping onto ppl near me. haha. I played for 2 hours that tats good enough for me to master it. haha. chey!.. nolah. still bad at it.

I went to meet my family straight at Lot 1 to watch a 9.30pm movie, I NOT STUPID TOO.
wow!.. very interesting story. my rating? i give 8.5/10. got a mixture of sad, humorous and serious theme in it. specially made for Singaporeans one. haha.

Of many things i said just now, actually i want to tell you all something about the scary encounter i had when our family we going home after watching the movie. Since my flat was at the far end away from the lift, we need to walk along the corridor lah. and tat was when my brother started to signal me to look at the opposite block.

You know what we two saw?
we saw a Pontianak!! and it was standing at the 7th story of that block, which half of its body were covered by the railings. I presumed it was staring at us since it was looking at our direction. Initially, i thought somebody was trying to commit suicide as the she leaning forward against the railing. But when she did that, to my suprised, it had such a very long hair reaching to down to the 6th storey and tat was when i realised she was actually a PONTIANAK! i swear it was. She was wearing a white dress and i could not see her face since her long hair covered it. My heartbeat started to race wildly like wat seh. And the next thing i knew, my brother and me started racing into our house. haha yeah! thats really scary.
Since after the incident, i tried to imagine what happens next if we had not run right after we saw it. try to imagine..... wat if i continue looking at it and suddenly it jumps off the railings and fly zooming towards me??

its up to you to guess on my fate...

Its Nearing

Hey guys! our O level results is just 39 hours and 5 minutes away! And to come to think of it, Time flies very fast seh. Really it does. I always felt it is still a long time for the results to be released. And this tells me 2 things:-

Im going to get my o-level results, which is of coz.. SCARY!!

AND

IM going to leave Millennia Institute(MI) soon!.. NOOO!!

Alahai.. why good things must end so fast?! Im going to miss everything seh!.. My friends there, the street soccer we play almost everyday, the experience of being scolded by teachers for playing soccer in uniforms, my new hairstyle experience, the new name-callings i had, the sotong and gerrreeeek teachers, the PE a.k.a boot camp in NS( which cause me to have spraint thumb just now.. hai), the unlikely clan champion- ORION!, the tadpole honeydew ice kachang i had almost every recess, the experience of being a monitor, sports rep and party organiser on the same time and not to forget, the journey there every morning, taking mrt to bukit batok mrt and take bus 77 at the bus interchange.. hai. im going to miss those days.

And most likely tomorrow is going to be my last day at MI. Many ppl did not want to come on friday cause of o level results will be released wat. So, i presume everybody wanna stay at home and pray alot lah ah?.. haha.

Aniwae, i wanna wish a big thanks to Hasyimah for helping me alot during my MI days. The malay party in which we two become the main organisers. Although i knew i didnt do much, the party was quite a success due to her hard-work. And yeah, thanks so much just now. She helped me to do the dressings for my spraint thumb. haha. luckily she was in red cross. And to hafiz, muhaimin, taufik, luqman, azree and the rest of my close frens in MI.. even those who are in the same MT and HT as me, im really grateful to know you all. If i have just one wish that can be granted, i would like to see every single one of you to be in the same JC/Poly after our postings. but i know its not possible. just take care ya after we go to our separate ways.. =P

and to everyone out there hu r waiting for the o level results, pray hard k? Remember, you will get what you deserve. If u feel you had work hard enough, dun worry. It should turn out well. Good luck yar everyone. May god bless me. =)

IQ = Intriguing Questions... (Making you waste your time)

hey! You guys have taken the IQ test from the Tickle website already?

I had taken it twice, last year when my classmate, Yu Ding, told me to do so.
That time i got 121 if im not wrong.
And the second time i took was just last saturday.
Surprisingly, after a year, my IQ improved man! haha.
i've got 131 this time.

wow! isn't that good?! but tyco lah i think. haha.
If only this test are for real, why i am still here struggling to get good results? Right?!
If Albert Einstein got 160 for his IQ and invented the nuclear theory, why cant i invented something too?!

So, i hereby conclude that this IQ test is a fraud. Just to make you happy only. haha.
luckily it just took 1/2 hour of my time. Some others told me they took 3 long hours to finish it. That one... hmm.. i had no comment about that. Hardworking perhaps. haha.

klah, take care everyone. Happy Holidays~! =p

Friday = Soccer!

i had finally formed my own UNBEATABLE team at Millenia Institute. muahaha!

Consisting of 6 players with 1 reserve. They are Muhaimin from Woodland Ring Sec, Taufik from Clementi Town sec, Hafiz from St Andrew, Luqman from Greenridge Sec, amin and me who are from CCKSS. Hafiz Usop has just joined the team today after coming back from his overdue injury after getting a foot infection which sidelined him for two weeks. haha. pity him.

Aniway, today we had our CNY celebration which was planned to finish at 11am. but halfway through the event, around 9, they were alot of people already playing soccer at our street soccer court. and that's when the best and worse moments came.

Soon after we enter the court as a new challenger, we totally conquered the court seh! haha. we were playin the 1-goal KO rule and we went unbeaten for 5 games at least, if im not wrong. there was one game in particular, from the kick-off, Muhaimin scored with an unstoppable shot to the roof of the net. haha! nice man. Our opponent had been watiting for their turn to play for so long, but ended up conceding a goal in just a fractions of a second.

the winning streak went to an end and im not going to tell you all how they scored. tyco ah. hahaha. like what seh khairul? lose already but do not want to admit. =p

but that's only one part of the best moments, because for the first time the supporters' stands were crowded. the spectators were like watching a big match seh. haha. n with our team going unbeaten for quite some time, the feeling was special semacam ah. haha.

Our game was cut short when our PE teacher, ms wati confiscated the ball as there were some students not wearing their full PE attire. haiz. just because of some black sheeps, we also had to suffer the consequences seh.

anyway, my team went to play pool at POOLFACTOR beside Beauty World after that. haha. style ah? soccer ball kena confiscated, yet, continue playing other balls. haha. we played till 1 and went for our friday prayers at Al-Iman.

Hafiz, Amin and me wanted to go back CCKSS but i received an sms from haikal telling me that the sch closed at 1. alahai. but nvm ah. We met with our other ex-CCKSS boys and play soccer again. jeng3!

i think i will become fitter and fitter each day if i continue to do this. haha. klah, i TRY to update my blog as frequent as i can in the near future. take care guys. Selamtz~! and...........
HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR TO MY CHINESE FRENS OUT THERE!!

Im BACK!

heyya!.. sorry for the long delay. im kinda busy with some stuffs at MI. haha. ok fine. its not that. I was busy playing PS2 all these while instead of switching on the computer and blog.

btw, this is the 3rd week already since the 3 months course started. Well, the orientation over and learning process had started. this is the 2nd week of learning. frankly, i did enjoy going to school everyday. its like i always looking forward for each new day. the tutuorials, the lectures. everything is fun. but yes, you need to be serious when the stituation needs you to. So far so good. almost all the subjects i am able to cope well, except for CHEMISTRY!. bo-hoo-hoo. i just dun know why i am struggling with this subject. but oklah. still can do. dun need to worry. haha.

last friday i had my MI soccer trial. wowza! i was selected to represent their senior's team. only 5 year1 MI students were selected out of the 12 players who came that day, and i was one of them. haha. tyco lah actually. got two coaches. the main coach actually did not select me. but the other coach somehow manage to persuade him to let me represent for the senior's team. haha. i owned him man. need to show my fullest potential next training....

which was today! and unluckily, today rained heavily. haiz. we manage to play 11-a-side for 5 minutes and it started pouring. and i did not even get to touch the ball. huhu. btw, you want to know wat's my new position in the MI soccer team?

Striker man!.. haha. im a right-midfielder actually. but there were so much competition for that position. So, i lied to coach that i am a striker since secondary sch. haha. but not bad wat. still got selected for the MI team. Muahahaha!..

ok. back to school. There was this girl from St theresa. cute seh. but i dunno whether she is a malay or indian. coz she has a dark skin complexion. haha. but still oklah. only tat i never manage to know her better. always saw her from distant only. but hey, i wanna make frens only lah and have a wider circle of frens. haha. yeye je khairul nie.

aniwae, if you had been constantly reading my tagboard for the last few days. many those who tagged said i had cut my hair botak. well, its not really botak lah. anyone here know Mawi? the popular male singer in Malaysia right now?.. yes, my hairsyle something like his lah. can consider botak lah. but i dun like the word ah. so, stop calling me that. MIans, you all hear that?! nowadays, almost from every direction in sch i can hear " Eh botak!!" . as if i got i no name seh. haha. but nice experience ah.

you want to know why i cut short? erm.. actually because i had some miscommunication with the barber. i told him to cut LIKE GI but dun be to short... and he heard the word GI only and started cutting. huhuhu. here how's my miscommucation started:-

Me: bang, potong mcam GI eh tapi panjang sikit ah.
Barber: ok.. Gi eh. ( and started cutting my hair)

when i realised he was cutting my hair way too short, i stopped him.

ME: bang, bukan GI tau. lebih panjang lagik. tak nak pendek2 sgt.
BARBER: eh? ni dah potong GI nie. mane lei undo balek.

So i had no choice but to let him to continue cutting GI....

and i ended having this image.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
amacam, mcam mawi nye adek tak? haha.

so that's about it. so next time when you saw a guy wearing a CCKS uniform with a MAWI hairstyle. it must be me. look carefully because nowadays many people whom i know did not recognised me seh when i was outside in the MRT or bus. but nvmlah. i dun care. haha.

i just hoping that by the time i wanna take my o levels results, my hair can be combed already. at least long abit im happy man!. nowadays no need to combed seh. saving at least 15 minutes of my time. haha. and one month to grow seh. alahai!..

oklah i gtg. Selamtz everyone!

ORION makes me tick!

If you asking me this question, "WHAT ON EARTH IS ORION?!"
well, you need to re-phrase your question. Because ORION is a name of a STAR and it is NOT from this earth.

To start off, ORION was my clan's name during my MI orientation. There were 6 clans altogether; AlCOR, ORION, PHECOA, RIGEL, DRACO and sheesh!... i forgot the last one. nvm.

Every clan we were further divided to 5 orientation groups(OG), so it will be like; Orion 1,Orion 2, Orion 3, Orion 4 and Orion 5. Same goes with the other clans. And i ended in Orion 5. There are 30 people in my OG. and if u still practise ur math, 30x5x6. there are at least 900 people going to MI for the first 3 months. Wow!

Orion 5. Let's see. i was first worried that nobody would stand up and make the group lively. So, as a quiet person for those who knows me well, i tried to be funny and outgoing with the people around me. I think it's kinda worked out but yes, it failed on several occasion. im not a gifted joker ok. And one more thing, do you know that the more i get to know the people in my OG, the more i think was the stupidest student in the group. There were Naim, a malay guy from Victoria, Edvin from St Joseph and Haoteng from River Valley. just to name afew. There were even students from RGS, Hwa Chong, and Dunman High from other groups.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

okok, im not going to be literally writing down everythin for the past 4 days that i had been enjoyin so far at MI.

But what i wanna say is that our clan, ORION, won the best clan.. i mean the overall CHAMPION lah. woohoo!. *3 cheers for Orion*

We were shocked to death actually, you know why? because throughout the orientation, almost.. eh no.. ALL our activities that points were given for, we LOST!

The treasure hunt we could not finish in time, human chain passing down of hula-hoops we lost, the 44 ppl soccer match we lost 2-1, the mascot competition we lost, the skit/dance competition we lost. And yar, even our ORION flag was stolen by the Student Counsellors and that should cost us some heavy points being deducted. So, we thought we were going to continue our losing streak, surprisingly, we won the overall CHAMPION. what an extraordinary way to end our orientation.

PS: Do ya know i RAP, not RAPE, in front of everybody during the skit/dance competition. It was my first time doin such crazy stuffs man. haha.

What Goes Up, Must Come Down

yesh. i was finally defeated for the first time. My unofficial soccer team that is. The Al-Function team.

Final score on the scoreboard:
AL-FUNCTION - 0 OPPONENT - 5

Well, what went wrong with us was that we lost to them by a number of attributes.

Firstly, they were mostly poly students and of cause we lost to their heights. They kept delivering pin-point crosses from both flanks in the first half, and we defended miserably. 3 goals conceded in the first half.

secondly, we were simply not confident enough in front of their goal. In the second half, we were able to control the game after we changed our formation from 4-4-2 to 3-5-2. However, we still concede 2 goals and did not hit them on the break. Just lacking in confidence. We had at least 3 chances that are so obvious that we can scored, but somehow, the ball cannot crossed the goalline.

Lastly, we were still lacking in technical skills compared to them. They were more fluent and swift in making through passes, square passes, back passes etc. Our strategy; use the flanks to counter them. succeed but failed in getting the goals.

Ok, here's how the Al-function team fair just now..

Yang Xi(Goalkeeper)- His first debut for the team. Good shot-stopper but lack long range shot awareness. 6.5/10

Hafiz Y. (Centre back)- First half made crucial mistakes. 2nd half improved and good in air. 7/10

M.Khairul( Centre back)- Hardworking lad. Made some crucial interceptions 7.5/10

Kamarul, m. khairul's brother( Centre back)- Another key figure in defence 7.5/10

Rashid( Right Back) Ambitious and determined, but forget about his defensive duty. 6/10

Me( Right/Left Midfielder)- somebody please rate me. haha.

Faris MI (Centre Mid)- Agile but tire near to the end of the game. 6.5/10

Syafiq(Striker)- Lost in no man's land and doesn't use his body to the fullest. haha. Making lots of his trademark move. When given a long ball behind him, he would make a 360' turn, a big U-turn, before running towards the ball. He called it ' Turn WORLD' with the finger motion like Mawi. WORLD! Rating 6/10. haha. kurang asam betul aku. tulis panjang2 tapi rating paling sikit.

Amin(Striker)- Harworking and Industrious, but lack finishing touch. 6.5/10

The other three players who played for us were Rashid's friend, so im not going to rate them since they were not officially part of the Al-Function team. Anyway, credit to them for playing quite well for the team.

That's all guys.. Adios. and yes, Merry Christmas everybody!

Purple - Not Going
Blue - Not Sure

AJC - 4
JJC - 2
PJC - 12
IJC - 7
NYJC - 2
MI - 2
Unconfirmed - 12

These are all my classmates PAE posting for the first 3 months.. thanks to Haikal, who hardworking-ly made this list of our classmates. He wanted to track every single moves of each of our classmates, that's why.

And can you see the majority are going to PJC and IJC. Well, those going PJC are actually those who wanted to go the the nearest JC. Good for them. Save time = Can Wake up Late.

For me, i chose MI because i thought that im not going to get a job within the 3 months, so perhaps an institution can at least took some time off me. But unfortunately, I received a job application and a place in MI on the same time. Bad Luck? Bad Choice? i think both play a part. So now, i had to travel far every morning, starting on the 3rd of January, like anyone else. If im late, this time, i cant use my bike anymore. Worse.

Holiday Bungalow At 132 Pasir Ris Road Off Elias Road Opposite Pasir Ris Park

That is the location of my chalet which i had been staying for the past 3 days. Frankly, i thought it would be just a simple chalet with small rooms, a simple place to hang out with my cousins. But i was wrong! It was the biggest chalet i had ever stayed in. Really.

1st day
Saturday 2.30pm++

I was resting at home after my soccer 'match' that morning. The soccer match i told you all about in my earlier post was cancelled. The TWSS team was scared of us i think. haha. So we played within ourselves and played 3 sets of games. 1st-Lose 5-1( warm up only), 2nd-Win 5-1 and 3rd- Win 5-1. So coincidence that the scoreline are the same throughout the 3 sets. haha. i had 4 goals in hand in total, counting out the first match which i took it for warm-up. haha.

My mom reached home from work and told us that we are going to leave for the chalet at 4pm. But we dragged on till 7.30pm.

We reached our destination around 8pm with my cousins tumpang-ing our car. There were 11 of us in the 7-seater vehicle. haha.

The first thing i did was; get out from the car, get my belongings and a carton of chicken wings, put it at the bbq pit, and ran to 1 of the 4 rooms at the 3rd level of the Bungalow. My 4 cousins( all boys) chose the middle room which is very spaceous compared to the 2 rooms at the both corners. haha. so clever of us.

I did some cleaning up; hanging my clothes etc. before going downstairs. there were at least 2 chinese families whom i get to know that they are my uncle's collegues. There was this particular 7-year-old chinese girl, one of their daughter who kept pestering me. haha. cute jugak dia.

That night all i did was bbq-ing sausages, crabmeats, squids and steaming freshly caught crabs. It was fun though. My cousins were all around the bbq pit, joking and pestering with each other. It was nice to see them again especially after a year of studying for the O's.

That night, around 3am, me and Hadi( arguably my closest cousin) went to our room to have a good night sleep. We slept just next to the air-conditioner.( just for your information, the aircon was placed at low ground. I wonder why since cool air sinks, right?) The girls, on the other hand, were playing UNO at the first floor till 4am, am i right ayshy? haha. tulah baru diapanggil semangat UNO.

mabuk UNO! da pukul 4pagi nie!

2nd Day
Sunday 6.00am++

My brother, Khairil, woke me up to solat subuh. But i accidentally slept back. hehe *evil grin*. I heard those who solat subuh went for jogging that morning. Ish. wasted.

I woke up at 10am knowing almost everybody in that house had woke up already. Some were having their breakfast. Others were even playing badminton and chess. Ouh yah, just for info, there were at least 25 people in that bungalow that morning. Most of them who had woke up had not taken their bath, simply because we knew sooner or later we would be playing water-bomb and go for a swim at the sea. So, i just brushed my teeth and washed my face and went down. I ate my breakfast cum lunch which is ketupat with ayam soto.

everyone has their part to play... which is to walk around the kitchen.. haha.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
aduhai.. bukan main cute lah anak sedare aku nie.

Soon i finished, as i was about to walk back to the kitchen, my spider-sense told me the war of the water-bombs had started. I turned around and saw my sister, Lydia had already gotten wet. haha. I ran to the kitchen, washed my dish quickly, and joined in the WAR. So fun. I did not get wet at all only.... until one part my uncle used the water hose. Kurang asam betul. haha. I finally get my revenge when 2 of cousins, Khairil and me attacked him from the 3rd floor of the bungalow and he was at the ground level. We throw water bombs at him. Good strategy yah? of cause he finally get wet. Muahahaha..

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
Has the war started?

At least 15 people of us went to the sea straight after that. We played captain's ball and ' anak ayam' in the water itself. And of coz, my team won the captain's ball. hahaha. with a bit of cheating. ;P

That nite we played four mini games in the bungalow itself. First was musical chair, even my aunties n uncles played. haha. nxt, was some balloon game. 3rd, was the passsing of ruber bands using lidi. and lastly, was the passing of message. The message was supposed to be, " Holiday Bungalow at 132 pasir ris road off elias street opposite pasir ris park" . Both teams ended receiving wrong message. haha. Then, the organiser(my uncle) said that the person who can give the right message will wget $10. i was the first one to go.. but i forgot the three darn numbers "132" .. and tat cost me 10 bucks.. and the money went to Hadi.

Luckily later that nite, i have PS2 with me and i played with my cousins, and of coz the game of Winning Eleven. hoho. and all the games i won. except for one. which i scored and own goal and ended losing 2-1.
I ended up sleeping at 4am.

3rd Day
Monday 6.00am++

this time, i finally able to wake up for subuh. haha. The first thing i did was to play PS2 again with my cousins. Around 1pm, we went to the sea for one last time. WE played ' monyet' game and the all-time ' monyet' are.... Lydia and Syazwani.. Because they are the only two girls who played with us. of coz the rest of my boys bullied them, including me. hohoho.

We finally went back to chalet, knowing that we are going home soon. We packed our things, eat our last lunch there and went back. So sad yet so memorable. Thanks my cuzzins for the wonderful memories we had. Im going to cherish it. haha. Emo sungguh aku. bye lah.

Lagu Jiwa Lagu Cinta

Menyanyi kerana gembira
Menyanyi kerana sedih
Menyanyi kerana rindu
Aduh siapa dapat membaca ...... hatiku saat ini

Menari kerana melayan
Menari kerana sunyi
Menari kerana kasih
Ada di depan masih juga tak mengerti

*Gerangan apa buat ku kemari
Dalam temasya ku memencil diri
Darilah jauh asyik memandangnya
Sekalipun dia amsih tak perasan ... ku di sini
Oh ...
Lagu jiwa
Bukan lagu mengadu nasibku
Lagu cinta
Bukan lagu meratap hidupku

Hanya nak menyatakan
Tuah dan untung badan
Diuji hebat cinta sehebat begini ... hebat begini

Looking Forward

I'm very optimistic with so many events happening this week.

Firstly, my uncle had asked me along to go to KL this friday with his family. We would then return on Monday the following week. But the problem is, I have so many other activities happening on the same time. Harris wanted me to attend the scout's campfire this friday nite, which he himself confessed that this is going to be one the most HAPPENING events in CCKSS. Then, i have a soccer match on saturday morning, representing USS, against TWS. One of the most crucial match for the Unitians( ermm.. is that rite?). If i do not play for them, i can imagine them struggling to score. haha. mcam Thierry Henry je aku. Oh ya, how about the chalet that my other uncle is organising, which is also falls on this Saturday?

By the way, haikal told me the results for the admission to the 3months course would be released this Friday too. Is that rite?

Looking back, last friday, the Al-Function team played at a basketball court near Teck Whye LRT since the function hall which we intended to play was under construction( painting in process lahlah). But what i wanna say that, Rashid do scored 4 goals that time. But, we are against a girl's team. And what you know, Rashid played as if it was a tournament. Relax ah. haha. so no need to be proud of that.

And those kepoh2 tagging my blog, thanks for tagging although i do not understand what you all talking about. haha. And happy holidayz everyone. Merry Christmas!

Maaf Zahir Dan Batin.

Everything Here For You To Know

hey hey.. relax yo guys. I can't believe just that simple plain emma watson picture, you all would be so hyper-active in tagging me. well, its good though. Continue tagging please.

Well, so what happened on PromNite?

It was quite promising though went the first time i saw the place. Mount Faber SAFRA Country Club. So big. But I thought we owned that place for the whole day. Especially the swimming pool. At first glance, i thought those who are in the swimming were my schoolmates. stupid dah. Who on earth want to swim in a swimming pool on such a ' prestigious' event?

It's not really prestigious from what i think. oklah. Can be improved. The MCs are also our own graduating students. I was expecting a professional MC. haha. $25 budget? dream on. The food was quite nice. but the thing is; the chicken wing very red in colour seh. My friends who ate that suffer stomachache after that( in m.khairul's case) and headache( amin's case).

Without any further talkings, here are some of the pictures i have.

thanks to fasihah.org, im able to have to this pictures. You may asked why i never put pictures from MY camera, well, i lost it. so careless.

btw, if u ever read rashid's blog(as if), please do read the post " Nite after Prom NIte". He is creating stories. For example, got one part he told his audience that he held one girl's hand sitting next to him who was afraid watching SAW 2. Well, to be HONEST and FRANK, the ' girl' was ME and it was actually the other way round. He was the one holding on to my hands and gripped it tightly whenever there's a shocking moment.

He's underaged. Thats why.

Preparation For Prom NIte

Im sure my peeps out there had prepared what to wear for tomorrow's prom nite. am i right?
well, for now, at this time of moment, frankly speaking, i only have a dark blue coat which i borrowed from my primary school friend. The rest, i mean the shirt, pants, shoes, my hair.. EVERTHING.. i have not prepared a single thing. What A Strike!

So, do not be surprised if i wear a singlet + sarong + slippers for tomorrow. ok, i know that's exaggerating but i just hope tomorrow i would still have time to buy and wear something nice.

To my VIRTUAL prom partner, please DO move away from me like what the Indian girl run away from Ron Weasley. i don't think im going to dance tomorrow. Confirm kaku punye macam MAWI. haha.

If only Emma Watson going to be my prom partner for tomorrow, then i will dance. haha. I know that ain't going to happen.

Emma Watson, will u be my prom partner?
(Psst... Don't disturb. Im emo-ing at the moment)

A Gift From Heaven

okok. sorry guys for not updating my blog. really really busy nowadays after my O's especially. haha. you know why?? The day i' ve done with my O's, that night itself, which is last friday, i bought for myself Playstation 2.

So you see, now you know why i had even ignored my computer which had been collecting dust for the past 5 days. Before that, the computer was the only source of entertainment.(well, im counting out television, i hate watching tv)

For PS2 btw, i bought it for $440( quite expensive eh?) using my own Hari Raya money. I've got 2 free controllers, 1 Memory Card and 5 free games. I've chose Fifa 2006, Winning Eleven 9, New York Crime, Burn Out-Revenge and Ultimate Spiderman.

Just want to let you know how obsessive am i with my new PS2, well actually, i finished the missions in Ultimate Spiderman in just 2 days. I slept 8am the next morning almost everyday. haha.

i know im crazy, yeah.

btw, if you asked me what i did since the last paper of my O's, i did nothing except staying at home and play my PS2. Yeah yeah boring i know. i've read adibah's, vivian's, farzaana's blog and all of them went out to town. maybe girls' entertainment are diifferent. Well, it's so obvious they ARE different from me. haha. Boys are boys and girls are girls. You cannot deny that.

So, that's my life after the O's. haha. sooo interesting. But yeah, of course im not going to continue this throughout the months of holiday i have.

Im vowed to myself already; im going to get a job, help out my mother at the market and upgrade myself by going to courses, like ermm.. computer course. yeah, so anytime if my comptuer break down, at least i know how to repair it.

For the next 4 days im going to be very busy again, collecting Hari Raya money. So, i will TRY my BEST to update my blog as frequent as i can. huh, vivian?

Enlightenment

Im not supposed to blog here right now, but somehow i have the urge to blog. For those Khairul Anuar's fans out there, just for your information, he will be at Bazar Utara, beside the Causeway Point. I don't know what he is up to, but surely he would put up a performance there.

Yesterday, i finally met my long-lost friends who are studying at USS. they went for the ceramah at Masjid Alkhair. We stayed there for our break-fast and solat terawih too. I was pleasantly surprised that one my friends, whom i am very close to during our primary school days, achieved 14 points for his L1R5. To come to think of it, he lost to me for the PSLE exams. It maybe because of two reasons; whether he had improved alot since OR i was the one who slacked alot after that. Only God knows.

I received an enlightenment from yesterday's ceramah. Uztazah Siti Rahmah A.Hamid gave a meaningful yet an interesting talk about the current situation of our malay teenagers. She ended her speech, saying something like, "prove that our malay teenagers can compete with the rest, and not being a burden to the society".
I really agreed with that. Our malay society in Singapore cannot achieved big goals, except for the minority who really stand out from the crowd. Im not criticising my own race but I just hoped more of us would able to stand out from the rest and make a positive impact for our society and country. Let us achieve this together especially during this religious month of Ramadhan.
And the next big test for me, the O levels.

Graduation..

I had never believed that i could come such a long way in life.
I mean, i always thought i could experience this type of life; where you could meet your friends in school everyday, joking and crapping around with them, mugging for exams together, etc.
But to come to think of it, life would always keep changing, whether you like it or not. One moment you are experiencing a new lease of life, the next would simply gone and you had to move on. For once, you need to adjust yourself to a new environment again.
just imagine this situation- you are just standing in front of the Poly/JC that you are posted to. in your hands, you are holding on to your certs. you are not sure whether you wanted to go in. the feeling inside you seemed cannot make any decision. You knew you had to move on in life but you there is always something that stops you. The memories you had in ur secondary school life seemed too strong for you to forget, and you desparately clinging on to it. You are afraid that if you do take that one step front, you would eventually forget about those memories.

However, if you look on it in a positive aspect, it is not bad after all. Everybody don't like to experience this, but you simply had to dealt with it. it is just a matter of your positive thinking and your optimism for your own future. Do not cry when you had to leave those memories but you should if you does not able to achieve your goal. As your life moves on, there are always friends and companions around to guide you through.

In a nutshell, i hoped my dear graduating ccksians would succeed in their life. Live your life to the fullest and good luck for the O levels. May your wishes and dreams come true.

HAPPY 16TH BIRHTDAY TO MYSELF!!

well, time really flies very fast seh..
just 17 hours 24 mins ago i was still a15-year-old who cannot watch NC-16..
but now.. Weee!!.. i can. haha.
nolah. im not tat crazy for NC-16 movies.

being a 16-year-old person( especially being a guy) is not easy as it looks.

on ur 1st day, u will suffer from the bdae bash from ur frens.
thats not all.. if u had just finished ur exams ( for instance, prelims for me), u will had to endure another obstacle in receiving back ur results.
and if do not do well, u will had to face the scoldings from your subject teachers.
and lastly, if ur frens still not happy with their bdae bash on u, they will wait for you outside school.
and repeat the same process.

wait, thats only on ur first day of ur 16th year living in this earth.

what's next for tomorrow?

i had no idea.

btw, i had mixed feelings regarding what happened today.

happy- for getting quite an improved result for my emath.
disappointed- physics paper 1 and geo section B.
excited- being a 16- year- old student for the first time.
sad yet determined- my math teacher pointed out my stupid mistake, and my physics teacher askin me what happen to my physics grades.

but overall, im quite happy with the way things are worked out today. only for few setbacks in my results. hope the other half of the subjects would pull up my grades.

hope so.

well, i wanna blog again lah.
i suddenly felt a a sudden surge to blog. haha.

im sure u all noticed that i had change my blogskin right? haha.
well, i think i had used this for two weeks already now.
only that i never update it.
so, what u all think of this skin?
is it childish?

haha.. i really dunno man. i just change it for fun only. haha. serious.
but if you'll wan me to change again, i will.

that time on wednesday, i went to harris house to watch this show.
It is called the Russell Peters Show.
He is an indian comedian, and he is an American.

He was very funny man!!..
his jokes were all talking about races.
n he usually criticise his own indian race. haha.

http://video.search.yahoo.com/search/video?p=russell+peters&fr=FP-tab-vid-

go watch it. it is worth laughing for. serious.
but it is M-18 show. so u need to be 18 years and older to watch this.. haha.

till then,
hahahahhahahaha!!!!...
yoz!..

sorry guys!..
it had been quite a while tat i had didnt blog huh?
haha.. so sorry. im a very busy man nowadays.
hoho. like real.
well, actually. it is just pure laziness.
i don't like to blog actually. haha. but i forced myself though.

so, can you see wat time im blogging now?
4.40am for ur info.
i dunno y i still awake at this time of point.
haiz.. i just wake up you know!
now cannot sleep already.

btw, today i had 4 major examinations, from morning till night seh.
morning i had my prelims- geography n english paper 1.
then, continue at night. i've got my religious end-of-year exam, two papers also.
fuhh!..

Finally today ended.

Sunday, September 04, 2005

well, i am very exhausted for the past few days.

Firstly, i finally had my first ever performance in front on my secondary schoolmates. haha. nice. i performed during the teacher's day nad it was indeed a simple yet nice peformance by my 4/9 class.
on last thursday. i simply take my rest without doing nothing much, really. slacking at home. haiz. really need to buck up.
den on friday, we had our cross-country at macritchie resevoir. i had won the 6th position in the upper sec boys category. haiz. my stamina really plunged down this year. from 2nd last year to 6th this year. however, to be frank, i never pushed myself to my limits. I take it more lightly compared other years. haha. i did enjoyed myself though throughout the race.
after that i did skipped my friday prayers, since i was soaked with my sweat. So, instead, i went to hve my lunch and we boys took our short nap inside the west mall library. haha.
at 2pm, we headed towards the cck function hall, to have our SOCCER!! yes, i know that we're dead tired, but when come to soccer, our strength and stamina surely come back. haha.
i played for quite a while since many of them when home either they too tired; or they have geo lesson. haha. or oso religious class.
i went to harris's house with kamen and raj to have our PS2 session. haha. long time never play already.
Thought of going to religious class but somehow, i felt asleep and woke up late. so, no religious class for me, Again! to think of that, i had never been to my religious class for a consecutive 6 weeks!!.. huhu. should blamed mr TLW. everytime physics night class conducted very late one. haiz.
then yesterday, whole day went out to watch 'bangsawan', a malay stage theatre in which my father acted. The story is just the malay version of 'King Arthur'. watch that show before? well, nice man. and my father acted to make it more interesting. haha. by the time it ended, 11.30pm already and we went out to have our supper at Al-Azhar. reach home 1.30am.
somehow, i still can spent some time to watch Holland vs Armenia. haha. watch till 3oth minute only den go to sleep.

For today, no plans actually. so stay at home and finish up homework for this coming week. haiz.
holiday also like no holiday seh. everyday need to come back. kzz.. i got to go now.

saturday night fever..

today we had the dance practice again!.. well, i supposed today is the last dance at the function hall near phoenix there.. huhu. i missed tat place.. raj, kamen, zhe sheng and me got engraved our names on the concrete floor which the 'bangla' juz did some concrete touch-up.

today, i was 2.5 hours late for the dance practice seh.. supposed to meet at 12.. i (woke up) at 1.50pm.. n reached there about 2.30pm.. haha. stylo the milo.

well, the beau n belle competition has finally ended. Yiwen; aka my classmate as well as my dance partner.. won the belle title. wow!.. never expectin her to win.. haha. yalar, i noe.. i never vote for her.. but the thing i still not satisfied with is tat.. she won an MP3!.. erghh!.. jealous seh..

klah.. got tonnes of homeworks dah.. need to start oreadi..
Taaz~!!

Sunday, August 14, 2005

ouh mind.. havent start my hw.

have to rush.. really.

yesterday whole day filled with dance practice seh.
den reach home take Canadian Pizza as my dinner plak.
nice ah but not really filled up my stomach.. haha.
den watch manutd win everton 2-0. woohoo!
im beginning to support park ji-sung.
he was very hardworking and im tipping him to be the next asian star since hidetoshi nakata.

btw, yesterday in the wee morning, i was watchin liverpool vs middlebrough. i went to have my light supper at the kitchen. when suddenly someone ( or something!!) continously banged at the door.
wat the!! it was oreadi 3am in the morning n we have an uninvited guest at the door. i was scared of coz. i frozed for awhile, thinking whether i should open the door or not. i waited for a minute, thinkin 'it' will go away, but it still continued.
i woke my father up, ( haha.. kental ah khai) n he opened the door. rupe2nye orang mintak bayar hutang but go to the wrong house dah.. haha.
he was a malay old guy, around his 60s, saying that he had been chasing this particular guy (we named it Mr X) who had his wedding recently, but havent paid the catering. Mr X had been running around from this old guy, who is the owner of the catering, and had been giving fake addresses, telling him(the old guy) that he should come to his(Mr X's) house in order to get the full payment. but somehow, my family address was the unlucky one.
haiz.. nak kahwin pon sempat nak tipu orang.
i hope he will caught that guy soon before he play tricks on others too.

kk.. enough of that.
back to my piles of homeworks.

B3 for my Malay O level results..
haiz.
disappointing really..

dun wan to talk much about it.
must look on the bright sight of life.
i still hav time to retake it at the end of the year.
its not to late.

one more chance n make sure you pull this through.
