Updates

Sorry guys.. its been a long time i last blogged. 2 months? Ya.. that long i guess.

Ok.. for the updates.

1) Let's talk about the most exciting thing first. Ya.. u know. Soccer! Anw, i will just make it short and simple. Al-Paix(Al-Function combined forces with another team, PAIX) played 2 matches so far. Against this team consist of Teck Whye sec ppl and we won 4-3. I scored two to be more detailed. haha.. and just now, against MI soccer team. Lost 2-1. But we really felt it was supposed to be 2-2. no referee so that's why. abit unfair. And ya, a fight almost broke out. luckily i came to the rescue and calm the situation down. standard. I was like shouting to everyone, " You all want to play football or not?! If you do, then better start playing REAL football or we should just stop here!" Fierce..

2) PPP. White box Festival. I was surprised to get a call-up by Cikgu to become the main actor fo this year's event. Even though it was nice to hear that, im not mentally prepared to go through another round of intensive rehearsals. Furthermore, the actual performance is only in 2 weeks' time! All that i can promise is that i can help to improve the current situation of the preparation right now. To start with, the J1s did pretty ok and not as bad as what i've heard from Cikgu. Even though they are quite lagging behind time, im quite confident they can pulled it through that day.

3) Mid-Year Exams. Hmm.. well, what can i say. Unsurprisingly, i failed my H1 chem. I didnt prepare enough for it simply bcos i focused too much attention on my H2 subjects. And luckily the strategy doesn't really backfire as i passed all my H2 subjects.

  • Math-C
  • Phy-E
  • Malay Lit(paper 1)-C

Malay lit paper 1 was bad. i went off-tracked in my compo and it pulled down my marks significantly. I should have gotten B. Same goes to math and phy. Should have gotten a grade higher. But its ok. Its only mid-yr. I still have my prelims before my actual A's. Come on khai!

Ya allah, sessungguhnya insanMu ini memerlukan pertolonganMu. Berikanlah ku kekuatan dan tabahkan lah hatiku. Tenangkan lah fikiranku dan tunjukkan lah cahaya nurMu kepadaku Ya Allah. Amin.

4) Left Hamsting Injury. I realized that im having a recurring problem with my left hamstring. It all started during sec 2 when CCKSS played against Jurongville which we drew 3-3. And it happened again in sec 4 in the match against Juying in which we won 3-1 and i was forced to be sub out. And it happened AGAIN in this year's Sports Day in my last event. Other than that, i do feel the pain on and off. Seriously, it is frustrating. Everytime the injury occurs, i can't even bend, sit down, or pray properly. I think i really need help here.

5) Im off! it's morning already. Hopefully i will have time to blog more often. Sorry for the inconsistency and delays. Adios!

NAPHA test - My Last

Finally, I'm done with my NAPHA test.

To start with, I got full marks for all my five stations!
Although i had never been doing well enough for my sit-and-reach and standing broad jump(SBJ) recently, i finally achieved it. You know i've never been flexible and therefore i was quite surprised that i managed to hit 51cm for sit-and-reach. Not only that.. for SBJ, i finally crossed the 250cm mark by getting 251cm. haha. 1 cm more only.
However, i paid a price during these two stations because it worsened my hamstring injury. So when it was time for the shuttle run, i really ran slower than slower. To add more misery, the track was slippery. I had 3 tries but 2 of the tries were not counted as i slipped during the run. I ended up getting 9.6s for the last try. Not only me though who slipped. i guessed 75% of the them who took the NAPHA test that day slipped and fell too. haha. So its not that i'm clumsy or anything.

By the time we had to prepare for the 2.4km run, i was already having a serious hamstring problem. Unbearable it was and i had a difficult time to even walk. However, i did pushed myself to complete it. I was literally jogging with 'one functioned leg'. So.. the timing was really nothing to be proud of. i got 11.45min. hahaha! C grade of 3 points to be exact. Therefore, i got 28 points in total.

Anyway, im really glad that NAPHA is over. It's been a long time since i played soccer in school. So PE is perhaps the best time to do it.

For now, i should just relax one corner and wait for the injury to heal.

Selamtz.

Reflection

Hello everyone!
Just wanna keep you all updated..
Recently i've won 3 golds from my school's sports day! =)

Woah.. isn't that nice?
Actually, seriously, sincerely, frankly, honestly, i had never dream of that to happen.
I was just hoping for a 2nd for my both 100m and 200m events.
Yes.. I had to admit that i was really nervous before the events because there were some good runners. Although i kept some hope and optimism to win both, i didn't put much hope for myself. I told the inner self of me that, since this is going to be my last sport's day, i should just go out there and enjoy every moment of it.

Fortunately, it ended up really really well for me. For a moment, i thought it was like a dream come true or some sort. haha. Maybe im still dreaming right now, but as i looked back at the medals i've got so far in my whole like participating in sport's day, it was true indeed. I've achieved almost everything that i hoped for.

Back in primary school, i aimed to be in the top 3 for every events i participated and i finished 2nd for all the events, namely 100, 200 and 400m. That was way back in Pri 4. As i moved on to my secondary school life, CCKSS gave me a chance to prove myself that im capable of doing long distance running. The first year itself i've won 1st in the Annual Cross-Country. I was ecstatic of course! I had never knew that im capable of achieving such feat. But somehow my stamina dropped as the years went by and i got 2nd in sec 2 and 3 and 6th in sec 4. haha! perhaps im too old to run anymore. After receiving my O's results and graduated, i told myself that im not going to repeat all those achievements i've made last time. You know.. sometimes when you achieve something great, you feel you have done enough and you are contented with it. That's exactly how i feel.

Therefore, after all these years studying in tertiary education, i realized one thing, we should not be contented of what we have.

We must always persevere on and continue to strive for bigger success. We may find it mentally exhausting and physically demanding as it goes on, but we will never know when our time will come. The time which may change our life permanently. I'm not talking about those negative stuffs, but the good ones. You know.. when i won the title of 'Individual Champion', it was not a matter of personal glory or something to be boast about, but the feeling of satisfaction and the sense the achievement are invaluable. It is something that is very priceless and only hardwork, endurance(and of course, abit of luck) can paid it off.

Anyway, although i've said that, to be frank, i was quite lucky to win these things because i've never work hard for it. Maybe soccer has helped me to become a fitter person all these years but other than that, i didnt really go for runs or have a little workout at the gym. I guess, maybe i've got a little advice for everyone of you out there.

-Put your mind to anything that you do and everything will just fall in place nicely-

That's what i believe. Focus on the things that you aimed for and insyaallah, dengan keberkatan ibu bapa awak jugak, you can achieve almost everything. Why i said 'keberkatan ibu bapa'? Because they are ones who will give us the blessings to do things the right way. So, do good to your parents today onwards ok adik-adik?

Im back! (for now..)

Hey guys, im finally here to update.. Sorry to keep you all waiting. And yar, thanks very much for your patience. haha.

Let's see.. last 2 weeks, i went to Cameron Highland and KL with my family and cousins to attend my cousin's wedding cum short break after my common test. Oh ya.. talking about common test, its been very bad. i guess i didn't really prepared well for it although i studied hard this time round compared to the other times. Therefore i had to meet the HOD to have a small counselling session.. and it ended within 6 minutes only! maybe my case was not that serious compared to the others.. but yet, it's still bad.

Going back about my short holiday, it was quite a memorable trip. I didn't really regret going there and miss 2 school days. haha. but seriously before that i was desperately didn't want to go for the trip bcos i was afraid to miss lessons. luckily i managed to pick up from where i left and still coping quite well now, i guess.

Anyway, Cameron highland was nice man! very cold. macam kat negeri orang putih dah.. the hotel didnt even have an air-conditioner because its already cold enough.. and the people there are really proud of their strawberries harvestation. Strawberries shops are everyway. From the fruit itself, to the souvenirs, to the toys. Everything. its like heaven of strawberries. haha.

The following day we went to KL to shop, shop, shop. Not me of course. My aunties lah who else. I only managed to buy some PS2 games for myself at Petaling Street. that's all, serious. I didnt really looked forward to my cousin's wedding initially, but when i finally went for it, it was happening man! Alot of popular celebrities there including Fasha Sandha, Jalahuddin Hassan, Rosyam Nor, Ezyln, Aqasha and many more. i was awe-struck of course! Can't believe that im finally meeting these talented and well-established individuals. Fasha was gorgeous that night and Ezyln was so compatible with me. hahaha! tak tau malu. but seriously, she was very sweet seh that night, and still do. Terpegun sungguh..

And.. i've done with my NS medical screening. It was quite an expericence for me. Suddenly i feel that im no longer a teen but a young adult. The pre-enlistees there were all much older than me. I can't wait to experience the NS life. Its going to be tough, everyone knows that, and im excited with the challenge. But yes.. A levels comes first.

This week was quite interesting for me.. i had my SYF Malay dance and Sport's Day Heats on the same day. After a gruelling 5 months of rehearsals, it finally paid off. We won Silver! that's really a big deal for me and the rest because we're the pioneers of Pioneer JC to participate in this. I was not surprised by the results though because i was expecting it already. Overall, i've gained alot of experience through this process because this is my first time participating in a CCA consisting of the both sexes, therefore, i've learnt to make friends and get along well from the opposite gender. haha. afterall, i've been only in soccer and only soccer in my whole life. At least now i know how its like to perform in the SYF. Quite sad that its going to be my first and my last time. hai..

And yar, for my heats.. i got 2nd in the 100m event. Lost to a J1 volleyball guy by his head. I was disappointed with myself for slowing down in the last 20m. I was leading for the first 80m when i realize my legs were getting tired very fast. i slowed down a little and he catched up on me. wasted.. hopefully it wont repeat again in the finals. For the 200m events, the heats was cancelled and brought forward to the finals. its going to be a a very tough race because from what i know, my competitors are all VERY fast runners. I won't put much hope on this. For the 4x100m event, i got the feeling that its going to be a very exciting event because all the houses have good runners, and im really looking forward to it. It will be nice to repeat last year's victory. =)

oh ya, PA 4-on-4 futsal tournament is tomorrow! It's been a very LONG time since i last participate in a soccer competition. The last time i did was the last year's Al-Falah futsal tournament which we ended up runner-up. That was a memorable feat because we managed to beat the JOGA BONITO champions in the semi-final stage in which we won 1-0, courtesy of my last-grasp goal. haha. hopefully i can repeat that tomorrow. insyaallah..

Before i end this, i wish to send my sincere gratitude to all my fellow malay dancers for putting their heart and soul into the performance. Its been a very nice experience to know every single one of you. Take care aite!

One week break, that's just what i need.

Finally! it's term break. but i can't slack too much. i got Common Test once school reopens.

Hai.

Alot of things to do recently. The nearer the A's is coming, the more i feel unprepared.
Talking about A's, my seniors did well man! 98% of them are eligible for uni.

Isn't that impressive? =)

yeah, very impressive indeed. therefore, the school is expecting more from my batch. The pressure is on!

So far, i had alot of class tests, but im glad that i cleared my GP IRP test. That's crucial you see. Failed and you need to retain in JC1. Yar, i know. my english is BAD. Even now when you're reading this, im sure you've already spotted some language problems. Got so far? haha.

Aniway, PAE students had left already, and now new batch of students are coming in. and its a whole lot of them. they got 1060 students! Compared to my batch of 650, they are almost twice as much as us. Oh ya, about the soccer proposal thing, i don't think they are going to set up this year. Hai. What to do. They felt rugby is the more popular sport in PJC. Yelah tu.

My class is having an unbeaten run so far in soccer. Win 3 matches and draw 1. the draw we got was during the match against 06S26. We were leading 2-0. They came back to lead 2-5. But we fought back too, and the match ended with a 5-5 scoreline. Thrilling yet a tiring match. I scored 2 of the goals and assists the other 3. haha. =) nice. But our defending really need to buck up.

Talking about soccer, im getting worried now for Manutd. Larsson is going back to his hometown, Saha and Solsjaer are injured and only be back by the end of this month, Rooney not on form and Alan Smith is lacking in match fitness. I don't know how Alex Ferguson going to deal with this but i just hope Manutd will win the Premiership title this seaon. confident lah!

And and.. i just realized, Sport's Day is coming! It will be held on 18th April i guess. Shesh.. so fast! I can't wait to add new medals to my Hall of Fame. hahaha! ader2 je. hall of fame konon.

This is the Title

A very good morning to everyone! Its 4.17am. And yes, i don't know why in the blue world im still not asleep. Perhaps bcoz of the post-Kallang-Fever symptom. Or issit simply i have not tried sleeping late for quite some time.

Since the beginning of the year, my com has been infected by virus man! and tats explained why i rarely update this blog or chat. Frustrating it may be, but come to think of it, its actually a piece of good news.

Com infected by virus = lagging in the system = no mood to use the com = wont be online-ing that often = saves time for other better things

Can see? Its a blessing in disguise actually. And how ironic it can be when im actually blogging now to talk about this. kwahkwahkwah.

Injuries and more injuries has been piling up on me recently. Soccer.. Badminton.. MALAY DANCE even took a toll on me sometimes. Soccer well yeah on laz friday i had it in school and it was so much fun when u're against ur JC1s. We imagined ourselves as Team Singapore whereas the JC1s as the Malaysians. haha. crap! and yes we won all the matches. *erm*( no wonder S'pore win juz now) And yesterday's morning MCS camp cum soccer was also another one which i played. Captain's ball was a disgrace when i tripped and fell after hitting a girl's heel. hahaha! Tetapi dengan semangat yang kental lagik liat, aku sambung bermain. Badminton for PE on friday was tiring too since i kept smashing that freakin shuttlecock against Edwin, the self-proclaimed Ronald Susilo. the back-roll during the dance practice cause me to twist and landed awkwardly on my back. haha. again... another silly thing to concede. Being careful is one thing. Containing urself is another. Sometimes ppl tend to get too excited when the situation gets unpredictable yet potentially-interesting, like me. hahaha. yeah, i admit. Im sure ppl enjoy rising up to the occasions. On a sidetrack, like the Causeway-Combat match juz now, Singapore was more determined and motivated to win the game coz they were playin in front of their own fans. A nerve of steel and focus needed to take those heart-wrenching penalty kicks. Im sure those weak-hearted will faint on the way walkin to place the ball on the penalty spot. scary, seriously. i experienced that during my secondary school days and i can still remembered vividly that i was perspiring to the max. Everyone was counting on u to score and u knew the stakes are very high. One mistake can proved costly.

Back to the topic, i think i should calm down and be cool. chill, relax one corner but contribute things on the same time. In terms of soccer, i've done that. Critical passing is much cooler and dribbling. Unless ur name is Cristiano Ronaldo or Ronaldinho, den better not do those fancy footworks. In terms of study, i've tried to do that but yet to be successful. perhaps exams is not here yet thats y i cant judge it for now. U can still be cool even if u're a studios freakos u noe that? haha.

Aniwae, school has been very good so far. im enjoyin life although GP remedials habe been spoiling my tues every week. I seriously need to pass that GP test man! God help me please. I really wan to take my A's tis yr, score well, go uni, take degree and fly off. yeah, i made it sound so easy. Really need to work hard man! Orite, i stop here. Its time for morning prayers. taking care. selamtz everyone!

2007. A New Beginning.

WELL. HAPPY NEW YEAR 2007 to EVERYONE!
im so late.

It has been some time since i last blogged. Im SO sorry because as you know, school has re-opened.
And being busy as always, i can't really blogged that frequent. Hai.

Nvm. That's not the point that im going to talk about today. What's more important is that i finally QUIT HOCKEY. Yes. im OUT.

After a year being a hockey player, i think its time for me to 'retire'. Its not that im not fit nor im not interested in sports, but simply, hockey is so much difficult to master. When you can't master the sports, you dread to go for the trainings. And everytime you go for the trainings, you feel its boring because you cant do anything much, especially dribbling. for those who know me well, I love to dribble regardless the sports; soccer, rugby etc. But when comes to hockey, i can't do anything much with the ball, except for stopping, BASIC dribbling, pass. That's all. After all, all these while, i hoped that through the trainings, i will improve on that, dribbling past one or more opponents like what i did in soccer. I get frustrated when things i expect to happen doesn't happen. Although i was VERY glad and excited when i was selected for the first team, playing as the CENTRE FORWARD, i can't help it when my techniques are still not up to my expectation. I do scored some vital goals and making nice runs down the flanks, so im not that bad actually, i presumed.

Being in 2 CCAs currently is also partly my reason why i quit. For the benefit of those who still don't know what's my other CCA, well, im telling you now, its Malay Dance(MCS). Its not that i was entirely forced, but it is a two ways thing, they forced me to join and on the same time, i agreed to it coz i feel i want to learn something new in my JC life. Being malay, i should know more-or-less some of my Malay traditional dance moves right? Its only for this year's SYF what.. no harm. its not that im going to be a malay dancer for the rest of my life. The important thing is, i will gain something beneficial from it. I hope so.

Thirdly, i was actually planning to join Soccer which, i hoped, it will set up soon. Im already doing the proposal and petition with some of my friends' help. But i got 3 problems; they may reject our proposal, JC2 might not able to join a new CCA, and we for sure might not able to play in this year's tournanment which will be held this April. So, yes, my chance to represent PJC Soccer is very very slim. One thing for sure, i just hoped that soccer will be set up, thats all. I will be more than happy to see that happening. Although if im not going to be part of it, i will still be glad to see the individual soccer talents among PJC students. And people start to recognise me, Sir Khairul Ruzaini, as the Founder of PJC Soccer. haha. okay. thats crap.

Aniway, apart from all those things, school has been quite a smooth sailing for me. Maybe because its still early and it havent reach the stress peak level. But i think im more disciplined now. haha. chey. nolah, its just that im more determined to do well this year. So, need to be more hardworking lah. hopefully, i can continue this attitude till the A levels, if better, for the rest of my life. haha. insyaallah.
Oh ya, J1s PJC students this year is quite promising you know? I mean, the girls. haha. nolah. im just trying to say that there are more pretty girls this time. BUT im sure, im not not going to tackle them or anything, coz simply, i don't have time to. If in any circumstances i got time, then, maybe. haha.

In conclusion, i think i got to go now. Roger Out.

Towin-ing For A Good Cause

2 days of 'working' experience in METRO was very enriching indeed.
I've learnt alot, especially getting myself used to the town life, and of coz, the directions!

First day, i've already facing problems of even going to Paragon, the place i was supposed to be at for the SIF-Metro thingy.
I dropped at Somerset MRT and instead of going to the Orchard Road, I walked along the Somerset road and wondering where IS Paragon. I went to check on the directory map and that was went i realized i was WAAAYYY off.
I finally reached there after 30mins of wondering around. haha..

The METRO lady who briefed me about what i was supposed to do for the day was gorgeous dude! I kept smiling at her throughout the briefing, and she responded with a smile too. I guessed she knew what i was thinking. ha ha ha. Nevertheless, i was NOT distracted by her looks coz she tested me on the rules and regulation that i need to abide. She asked me to gave one but i gave TWO! She was impressed indeed. haha.

My 'colleagues' for the day were my own classmates; Hui Qi, Silu and Edwin. We were given a booth, where the donation was to be held.

Throughout the 10 hours from the 2 days of asking people to donate willingly, i had a taste of the various kind of behaviours from different people; both foreigners and locals. Surprisingly for me, 60% who donated were foreigners! I wondered if they were trained to be like that back in their country. Hmm. I guessed Christmas is coming, that's why.

There are some behaviours from them which strikes me; either interesting or unsual. haha.

There's this classic one; an old ang moh guy. Just for ur info, anyone who donate will be given a METRO voucher and have a chance to win a lucky draw. When this guy donated, we asked him whether he wants to fill in the lucky draw form but he rejected it by sayin "Nono, donation must be made from the heart. Sincerity u know." he said with the typical ang moh accent. For a moment, i was impressed with that, but just before i wanted to thank him, Silu asked him if he wants the voucher instead, and he immediately replied ,"Wow, thats better!", took it and walked away. hahaha. so ironic man that guy!

And there's this indian guy who really DON'T want to donate when we approached him, so we gave him our pamphlet, hoping that he will changed his mind. Few minutes after he walked away, he came back with a $5o dollar note in his hand and slipped inside the donation box. I never knew that pamphlet will made such a difference! haha. Coz im sure many of u, when u get pamphlets or ads through the streets, u will be walking a few metres down and dispose it away as soon u see the nearest rubbish bin. Isn't that right? Or perhaps to be more exact, u just litter it. haha.

There's alot more than that which i had experienced. But i wont say it anymore here. To know more, i recommend u to start working now, be a salesperson of sumthin, coz it will be so much interesting knowing the behaviours of different poeple.

Go. Go ahead and find a job.
Siting at home will just make u fatter.
haha.

For now, people like me, should just stay at home for the rest of the holidays and start preparing for school. OK, lets start. Where's my pencil case?

Ada hikmah sebalik HIKMAH.

OK. Lets blog about last Monday.

HIKMAH finally ended! Man, i just love the ending.
Everything seems to turn good.
Adrian recovered from his loss of memory.
He gets back with Ana.

One lucky guy.
Ana is such a pretty, religious, tetap-sabar person.
He should be very very thankful that Ana wants him back.

Why such dramas must end with a happy ending?
Next time, if im the director, i will make sure the main character dies.
haha. that will be more dramatic.
especially the main character which everyone adores. in this case, Adrian.
His first accident made him lost his memory.
Then, his second accident made him back to his usual-self.
Got such thing ah? Two times lucky seh. haha.

Aniwae, in overall, i actually like the senetron lah.
Alot of tragedies, complications and Ana, especially, handled it very well.
I give credit for that.

LUCKY still got HIKMAH 2 next year.
I just wonder what more problems will arise.
Hmm.

So, on tues, i did some tutioning with my cousin and the next morning, i went for hockey training at NTU. We had to do a 4.8km run as a warm-up before our match against JWSS. by then, every single one of us doesnt have the energy to run around the pitch. Luckily it ended 0-0. Fuhh! and i had a goal opportunity to score on a counter-attack but the keeper saved my shot. Should it have been soccer, i should have blasted it............ over. haha.

We went swimming after that at the NTU itself just for some fun, although it was not planned. Therefore, nobody bring any extra underwear. hahaha.

And today, again, doing more tuitioning with my cousin. As u can see, its getting more routine for me. the same old things kept repeating. Hafiz asked me out to play soccer at SP but i was too tired coz the previous nite i slept late watching Chelsea vs Newcastle. Curse them for the 1-0 win, but, I cant deny.. Drogba is really good man.

Aniwae, for the next 2 days, on fri and sat, i will be at METRO Paragon doing some community work from 10-3. Probably collecting donations lah. So if u want to help me, and also to help the poor people around the world, come down lah yer and contribute the money that u may potentially waste it on other unnecessary things. haha.

The Day I Did A Bad Deed(A Lie To Save A Friend)

Today was quite a hectic day for me.. MALAY DANCE(erm! aku dipaksa lah) in the morning, den i have to rush to my cousin's place to give him tuition. He is planning to go Anderson Junior College next year, so yeah, his mom kind of want me to prepare him for next year's syllabus. haha.

Aku maner nye pro je ajar2 orang. haha.

Immediately after that, rushed again to meet Taufiq, Firdaus and Hafiz at BP. Initially, we were planning to go to SIM to have our lunch and go to SP for soccer. But we changed it last min to eat at Al-Ameen.

This where something really wrong happen.
Not to me.. of coz.. haha. But to HAFIZ.

Hafiz was chewing a gum and he decided to spit it out from the overhead brigde near Beauty World there. He aimed a car which cun2 speeding below him. and it HIT! BULLEYE at the windscreen.
Of coz the other 3 including me kept insisting him not to do that.

We thought nth would happen but as luck always against us, the car made a right turn to the Beauty World carpark, winding down the window, and started shouting at us. Hafiz started to walk fast and take cover in Al-Azhar toilet. The other 3 of us chill2 walk to Al-Ameen as if nth happen. haha. We didnt do anythin wrong wat.
Surprisingly, the driver never gave up and approached us, still in his car, taking our photo using his hp. We posed for it lah of coz. haha.

We started arguing with him about that incident in front of the Al-Ameen restaurant. Luckily, tat time few ppl only. We argued and argued, denying that we are juz 'acquantaince' to the cuprit. Hafiz came to the rescue, but tis time, he was wearing a different shirt.

We acted stupid all the way thru the argument, saying that the culprit we knew him as 'Kamil'(sorry to all the Kamil-s in the world for using ur name) . I just give u all a glimpse of our conversation. Here it goes:

Juda(Tats his 'pet' name i think.. haha): I think u're the one hu did rite juz now?(saying with an angry tone while looking at Hafiz)

Hafiz: Ouh.. so u blaming me? i juz came and i dunno anythin happen.

Firdaus: Yar.. he just came down from the bus.

Me: Anyway, i think that Kamil had run away far from here by now.

Juda: Can you contact him now? Dun say u all dun have his no.

Hafiz: Hey.. do u understand? We are not close to him. We only know him while playing with him once at NP. tats all.

Me, Firdaus, Taufiq: (Nodding our head and said a convincing 'Yar!')

He took my hp no. and take our group photo one last time for 'memories'. He asked we all to search for 'Kamil' and called him back b4 5 right before he finally left.

Fuhh! That was the end of it. We four sat for awhile and started laughing to ourselves about the incident.

Just imagine what will his reaction be:
During the arguments.. we paused.. and smiled at him.. "Sir, we just wanna tell u that...
U're on MTV Boiling Point. Here's ur 10 bucks.

10 Days Away From Home.

I've been away for 10 days away from home, according to my calculation.
And its all happening in November.
So its like 1/3 of the month i've been away from my family. So sad.

Let me break down the 10 days:

-5 days having OBS
-2 days having Class Chalet at Downtown East
-3 days having Hockey Camp

I only reach home from the hockey camp yesterday afternoon. It was a very tiring and emotional(erm!) month for me.

OBS was indeed fun and tiring. That one i do not need to talk much coz i know everyone knows about it. I was in DA GAMA clan. Make alot of new friends from other JCs such as AJC, NJC, TPJC and MJC.
My personal achievement there was went i was selected to be the Navigator for the Sea Expedition and the Captain for the 8 Sea Expedition Leaders. haha. wow! It was a nice experience for me although i was quite stressed up when comes to make sure everyone have enough water to prevent dehydation, where to stop for lunch, their safety etc. I had to lead 62 of them back to our base camp by canoeing around the whole Pulau Ubin.
I suffered sunburns and now, people think im getting darker now. but dark nice rite? haha.

For the 2 days class chalet nothing much i guessed. haha. Coz only 4 boys turn up! I brought a soccer ball but how to play wif only 4 boys? the girls at least 11 came. haha. Most of our time doing BBQ-ing and playing PS2, Pro Evo 6. That's all for the first day. And we went to Escape Theme Park the next day in the morning and i left early in the afternoon to go VivoCity, meeting my family and cousins there to catch a movie, Happy Feet. Really nice show. You all must watch ok? haha. really, its nice!

By the time i reach home, it was late, around 1am and i had to pack my bag for the next's day hockey camp. And that's when my HP spoilt when i charged it! Spoil my mood seh that night.

My first day hockey camp was quite HAPPENING already. In the morning itself, while having my physical training, my malay dance cheographer, Mr Othman, caught me not going for the his malay dance practice. haha. shit. and i was forced to stop my hockey trainings halfway for the dance. In the afternoon we had our team bonding games and at night we had to watch the World Cup final(Hockey not Soccer!) between Germany and Australia. We watched this movie too, Remember the Titans, which is about an American Football Team having some race crisis, between the blacks and whites and how they overcome that barrier to win the championships. Another nice movie i recommend to u all.

Second day we had our physical trainings again in the morning followed by a testimonial match against our PJC Alumni. lost 6-0. haha. i played the Centre Forward position and it seem i missed all those chances in front of goal. I guessed i should just focus on my soccer. hahaha.
Back in school, we played street soccer and yeah.. i was back to my best man!
We had BBQ that night.. and thats make me to have 3 BBQ outings in just a week including the one i had during my ex-cckss friend, Delia's birthday party.
That night, the whole hockey team cramped together in one room to share about their ghost stories. And when comes to this, i had alot of them! So i was like becoming the main ghost story-teller. hahaha.
The next day, we were slacking all the way. the whole team only woke up at 9 when we supposed to have our Canal Run at 7. haha. and you know why our teacher-in-charge didnt woke us up? Coz he was away having his Standard-Chartered Marathon Run. therefore, nobody control us that day. haha. we played soccer till 1 before we were finally dismissed.

During this November month, not only i had learnt to be a leader in OBS or a first-team player in hockey, i also learnt how to handle setbacks when comes to relationship. I had some emotional roller coaster ride (harris taught me this phrase) recently. Lost someone whom i dearly love for 2 long years. But i had to move on. Perhaps we might meet again in the future. Only God knows.

Aniwae, i got to go now. Maybe when i got those pictures during the 10 days, i'll post it here. Sorry for the LOoOOoNNg post. i know its boring. haha. but if u do read this now, i guessed u must have a strong endurance to finish reading this post! Congrats.

Heaven Knows

She's always on my mind
From the time I wake up 'til I close my eyes
She's everywhere I go
She's all I know

And though she's so far away
It just keeps gettin' stronger everyday
And even now she's gone
I'm still holding on
So tell me where do I start
'Cause it's breaking my heart
Don't wanna let her go

Maybe my love will come back some day
Only heaven knows
And maybe our hearts will find a way
Only heaven knows
And all I can do is hope and pray
'Cause heaven knows

My friends keep tellin' me
That if you really love her
You've gotta set her free
And if she returns in kind
I'll know she's mine
So tell me where do I start
'Cause it's breakin' my heart
Don't wanna let her go

Maybe my love will come back some day
Only heaven knows
And maybe our hearts will find a way
Only heaven knows
And all I can do is hope and pray
'Cause heaven knows

Why I live in despair
'Cause wide awake or dreaming
I know she's never there
And all this time I act so brave
I'm shaking inside
Why does it hurt me so

Maybe my love will come back some day
Only heaven knows
And maybe our hearts will find a way
Only heaven knows
And all I can do is hope and pray

Maybe my love will come back some day
Only heaven knows
And maybe our hearts will find a way
Only heaven knows
And all I can do is hope and pray
'Cause heaven knows
Heaven knows
Heaven knows

Different style of juggling a ball

That time during school nothing to do while waiting for the japanese students to arrive, we decided to play some sports.

I can now safely stop thinking about promos

Alright, like finally,
i'm able have a peace of mind..
for now.

Yesterday we got our results slip for our overall academic performance this year.
And alhamdullilah,
i got promoted.

I was expecting it actually because from my promo results,
i can roughly predict that im able to pass all the subjects except for GP and Chemistry.
This two subjects always spoilt the show man.

I told myself, GP is going to be 50-50.
If my good luck charm is with me that day, i will pass for that subject..
if not then, fail lah.
and unfortunately, it went the way i hope the least.
But its ok, but i will need to go through intensive GP clinic next year.
nice.

For chemistry, i had to drop it for next year.
What a pity because i studied so much since sec 1. haha.
so which means im not going to take H2 chemistry for A levels.
which also means more courses in uni will close their doors for me.

so stop dreaming of becoming a doctor lah khai!
or a chemical engineer..
or a biomedical engineer..
and the list goes on..

man.. i think i should just forget about all this and start focusing on my childhood dream.
which is to fly. pilot lah in other words.
I know its very difficult to get especially malay guys like me.
But im still stubborn seh. haha.
Degil punya budak!

klah, i stop here. take care everybody! (",)

All about Japanese

Well, i came across this post bulletin in friendster and it captured my attention.

You want to know your japanese name? If you do, then try this out.
It's quite interesting.
However, the names sounded very stupid and funny. really. haha.

All you have to do is to..
1) Take each letter of your name
2) Substitute it with the japanese word.

Aniwae, the names might be kinda long.
So don't complain if it is difficult for you to memorise it.

* A- ka* B- zu* C- mi* D- te* E- ku* F- lu* G- ji* H- ri*
I- ki* J- zu* K- me* L- ta* M- rin* N- to* O-mo* P- no*
Q- ke* R- shi* S- ari* T-chi* U- do* V- ru* W-mei* X- na*
Y- fu* Z- zi

For me.. my japanese name is Merikakishidota shidozikakitoki (Khairul Ruzaini)

haha. it really sounded dumb man.

Aniwae, talking about japanese.. just now PioneerJuniorCollege was invaded by Japanese students!
there were lots of performances put up by both my fellow PJCians as well as the japanese student themselves.

This is one of their performance.
Their dance looked neat yet physically straneous man.
Enjoy!

Post-Promos: What's Next?

Being a first-timer in my school's inter-house soccer tournament is quite a nice thing to remember.
Being champion in my first try is a much sweeter way to celebrate after this tiring, almost never-ending promotional exams.

Firstly, i won't talk much about my exams.
Just hope everything goes well.

Aniway, im finally QUITE free. I said 'QUITE' because actually, i still have to go thru my OP and malay H1 exams. So it still not entirely ended. The exams for this year is still on man!

This time, fasting month was quite challenging for me. I never really have my sahur nowadays. can't wake up perhaps. Sleep late due to the promos that time. And when i did, there's not much food to eat. My parents are very busy with our family's business. Especially with our new stall, Umairah Western Delight in Woodlands. Hope u guys support my family's business aite! haha. And yeah, the nearer Hari raya is coming, the more bz i am. will need to help my parents at the Jurong West Stall sooner or later.

So yeah.. that's it. I had some memorable things to be proud of about yesterday's events. Nobel Soccer Team is the CHAMPION!

and im proud to be the captain of team.

Those guys did great man. I had to rely on the my non-malay teammates to win the competition since i was fasting and i can't run much. that's why i played the lone striker role. just waiting for the ball and do some counter-attacking. haha. We ended the competition without conceding a single goal. Isn't that great? We played a total of 4 games with the score: 3-0, 1-0, 2-0, 2-0.
The final match was the most dramatic, unsurprisingly. Both teams badly wanted to win. But i spoiled the even-contested match, with the first goal. haha. dribbled past 3 defenders before tonjol-ing the ball into the net. nice. tyco u might say, but still, its a goal. haha. I scored a total of 2 goals only throughout the whole thing, since i did more assists den juz goals. haha. and u know what? its not easy to score when u used the entire breadth of the field using only street soccer goalposts. qutie pathetic. haha. that's Pioneer Junior College if u want to know.

Alright, i stop here lah. Selamtz!

And i still have time to blog man!
There's a computer in my mom's and dad's hotel room.

So, this made me to blog for the first time outside Singapore.
Nice.

Just now, i watched CTea and Datuk K. live! in TV3 having their wedding ceremony in Kuala Lipis, the hometown of CTea.
She sang 'Dealova', and it really sounded nice.

There's a bazaar there and he was supposed to sing.
I waited there from 12 to 3pm but he was nowhere.
When i reached my hotel room and swtiched on the TV to TV3,
There he was singing live!

Sport's Day In PJC

Alright2, since today im quite early to reach home from my religious class, i should tell u all what exactly happen during my sport's day, which was on last wednesday.

It was held in the late afternoon, at 3pm, so u all can imagine how long i had to endure throughout the whole day schooling. yup.. SCHOOLING. there are no day off for the sport's day. haha. It was kind of distracting when u had to study but on the same time, worrying about the possible outcomes of the sport's day. haha. scary man.

Fast Forward --->

200m
My first event of the day. For those who had read my previous posts, actually, i was still suffering from multiple injuries at my shoulder, right knee, left arm and my little finger on my left hand. haha. All because of the fall i had during my 200m HEATS. unnecassary injuries. Back to the event, since i've gotten 1st for the HEATs, i was kind of overconfident that i win it again that time, so, i warmed up abit and i THOUGHT i was already fully prepared.
UNFORTUNATELY, i lost and gotten the 2nd place. losing to Redzwan, my closest competitor in during my HEATS, by half a second. At the last 100m which im supposed to burst, i felt my muscle cooled down and became heavy, making it difficult for me to sprint. So, that's why i lost. BUT also, congrats to Redzwan for the winning. Im very happy to see him win although, personally, which i think applies to everybody, that we all had losing. haha. right?

100m
After given some time to relax, it was the 100m event, which this time, i really badly wanted to win. Although my level of confidence had dropped drastically after the last race, im still left with that extra determination and self-belief.
Luckily, with god's will, i won. 1st! GOLD! although i never really know what's my timing. I think its slow lah because never get to break the record. haha. The record was 11.41s and my timing in the heats was 12.12s. its ONLY 0.71s difference BUT that's quite a big margin u know.

4x100m inter-house
This one my relay team won GOLD too! 1st! I had not much energy left when comes to this. but luckily, although we were in the 1st position since the start of the race, i should gladly thanks to my last runner who really did a fantastic job. He is our PJC Rugby Captain, so u all can tell lah that he is really freakin fast. For ur info, im the only J1 student in my relay team, the other 3 are all J2 u know. woah. how come i sound so proud of that? haha. aiyoh.

4x100m inter-CCA
So i represented for my MCS rather than hockey due to the less competition in the inter - 'Clubs and Society' race. Like what we are hoping for, we really won the 1st place! Alhamdullilah. although our 3rd runner injured halfway before the race, we had no choice but to use our reserve runner. and unbelievably, that reserve guy really made a great impact on our team by overtaking everybody at the curve. When it comes to my turn, it was already a breeze for me to finish it, because i was way in front of them u see. haha. not because of me, but because of that reserve 3rd runner guy who helped me alot.(im not going to name him. ceonsored.)

At the End of the Day,
i won 3 golds and a silver medal. Not bad for a J1 student who are still amatuer in track events. I almsot won the individual award since i get the most number of medals but it was eventually given to this guy who had broken all his 3 events which he participated in, 400m, 1500m, 4x100 inter-house. Congrats to him too.

Klah, im really tired now. I need to have some sleep already. im still going to have my MOCK A LEVEL EXAMS MALAY PAPER in the morning tommorrow. hai.

Random

Tomorrow.. eh.. wait.. IT's TODAY!
MY Sport's Day is TODAY.
Oh man, im not really in a good condition.
With bruises still yet to heal from the fall i experienced in my 200m heats, im not really prepared for it, really.
And during PE lesson just now, i spraint my little finger while trying to lay off the ball for my friend to smack it in a volleyball match. Hai. Unnecessary injury.
Hopefully, with the injuries im experiencing now, it motivates me more to win.
and not the other way round.

Can lah Khai! Go and break the records! (haha. like real.)

A Month After My Disappearance

Woah.. it has been a month since the last time i've blogged.

Let see..

Firstly, our PJC PPP's performance was a blast! I really enjoyed it. Im going to missed those old times man. Especially those rehersal days when we need to stay back after school almost every other day. Naik penat dok. But it was all worth it.

Because WHY?

PJC was one of the top 3 institution in the OVERALL CHAMPION category!

Temasek Polytechnic was the overall champion followed by Pioneer Junior College and NUS.

Compared to schools which won the most awards that day, PJC has the most with 4 awards.

  • Outstanding Direction
  • Most Effecttive Use Of Set
  • And 2 Outstanding Performers won by Redzuan and Zuraidah

Individually, i never won anything. but its ok. What i was hoping for was to let PJC win something that day and we did. Im so glad about that.

Espcially with the strong competitions from Innova JC, Jurong JC, National JC and NAFA, we were quite worried that we will not able to bring up the reputation of our PJC MCS. But somehow, alhamdullilah, we make it. and we make it at the very last minute. Because we changed alot of things on our performance, few hours before the actual thing. Fuhh! Congrats to everyone for making this far and stood on during the good and bad times.

Aniway, Promo exams is coming for all JC1 students this year. 7 more weeks and counting. I really hope i can make it to JC2 without much problems. Insyaallah. Pray for me aite.

Sports day is coming too. I think it will be held by at the end of this august. Wow! i joined 100m, 200m, 4x100m for house and another 4x100m for my CCA. For the 4x100m inter-CCA, I chose to represent for MCS rather than hockey. Its not that i hate hockey, only that if i represent MCS, i will have a better chance of winning. Because MCS will be running against club & societies CCAs, the likes of Media Club, Chess Club, Choir etc. haha. and if i represent hockey, my team will need to face other sports CCA like basketball, rugby etc, which is more difficult lah. haha. So, thats why i representing MCS. clever right?! haha.

And bad news for me, i sprained my ankle just now during my routine Saturday Soccer. Somebody( Im not naming him) kicked my leg instead of the ball and i ended up falling awkwardly, twisting my ankle. Hai. my first ever ankle injury. haha. and my feet getting bigger every second. Bad news. Really bad news. The Sports Day's heats is just next week.

Hopefully, i can recover in time. Pray for me again aite? haha. thanks. Oklah, i think i better stop here. Take care everyone! =)

Kau membuat ku merasa hebat
karena ketulusan cintamu
ku merasa teristimewa hanya
hanya karena, karena cinta
kau beri padaku sepenuhnya
buatku selalu merasa berarti

kini ku merasa hebat
karena kau yang membuatku makin kuat
jantungku bergerak cepat
semua yg berat bisa lewat
inikah cinta yg sejati

melayang ku terbang berenang di awan
tak akan kita kan lepas dan jatuh sekarang
cinta sang cinta kita kan terus mencinta

A True Underdog Story - A Near-Perfect Ending

Hi everyone!

Before i start on this entry, let me tell you first im not going to talk about the world cup. Yes, i know, this year is full of surprises. France vs Italy in the FINAL?! it is suppose to be Argentina vs Brazil instead! haha. its ok then. Im now rooting for both teams. I support Italy because they are techincally good and France becaus of Zidane. I don't know why suddenly im inspired by him. He made football look so beautiful to play.

Well, what i want to say is that, last saturday, i had my first ever debut playing in a futsal tournament. Yeah! And it was a memorable debut indeed.

To start off, my team consist of 8 players; 5 of them in which from SP, 2 from ACJC and 1 from PJC( u all know who lah).

Let me describe for u all my team members ok.. here goes.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

SP teammates
M.Khairul (wearing manutd jersey) - my ex-cckss good friend. So no problem communicating with him in the futsal court.

Nizam(middle) - Ex Dazhong Pri Captain. Skillful and tricky guy.

Shahril Bahri(bottom right hand corner) - Classmate with M.Khairul in SP. Hardworking lad who tirelessly chasing for every ball.

Sohiful(left top, looking elsewhere) - Im not sure how to spell it. Aniway, i preferred calling him Saiful. A 1.8m guy who defend brilliantly. Use his height advantage efficiently.

Imran( at the left, second from bottom) - Another solid defender. Look decent but deadly because he can dribble and score too.

ACJC teammates
Mirza (middle at the top with his arms raised) - A quiet guy but plays his goalkeeping role well. His reflexes are good too.

Hazmi (bottom left hand corner) - Ex-Rugby National player. Play striker alongside with me most of the time throughout the tournament. Top scorer in the tournament with 3 goals.

Our Performance - *PAIX peace in German
We named ourselves PAIX. Nizam and Shahril came up with it. Nice right? haha.

We played in the Under-21 Category and come to think of it, we are one of the youngest team. Only Saiful is 18 this yr. The rest are all 17. Our opponents are all much more taller and big-sized.

We are the ONLY team who played the most games in the tournament. You know why? Because intially 1st round all teams are in the WINNER POOL, playing a double-knockout system. We won our first game 2-0 but lost our 2nd match 0-1. So, we were relegated to the LOSER'S POOL. This time, we can't afford to lose another match or we're out.

However, throughout the LOSER'S POOL's tournament, we played using our new-found strategy and tactics, by partnering me and Azmi as the first attacking partner, and the 2nd half of the game introducing Nizam and Shahril as the next attacking partner.
This strategy was effective because Azmi and Nizam are natural finishers, whereas me and Shahril are naturally supporting strikers.

We checked the soccer table and it shows ONLY the CHAMPION team from the LOSER'S POOL will play in the semi-final of the WINNER'S POOL. And to our much delight, we won 3 matches to reach the FINAL and finally won 3-1 in that match, in which the 2nd goal i scored. haha.

we entered the SEMI-FINALS in the WINNER'S POOL and we met the FAVOURITE team to win the competition. They called themselves 'Thumberland' , but their jersey look exactly like BRAZIL, played like BRAZIL.. almost everything like BRAZIL lah. To add more to our fears, they are the JOGA BONITO champion this year! Now you see, we are clearly the UNDERDOGS.

And you know what?! WE WON 1-0! woohoo! i think that's the best moment of the entire tournament!

And you know who scored?!

ME!! Last minute somemore! haha.. so relief and excited man. I was celebrating like tak ingat dunia seh. haha.

THE FINAL
We lost finally though. haha. 0-1. It was a tight match. 50-50 possession for both sides. But they took their chances. That made the difference. We tried to equalise but they played their dirty tricks by wasting time. haiz. that's football. No choice as we lost eventually.

Reflecting on our overall performances, i think we did exceedingly well. I didn't put much hope intially, especially when we relegated to the LOSER'S POOL. Furthermore, we are playing in the Under-21 category. It was a really a difficult tournament but we stick together and persevered till the end. Our sweats ( 'Eeeww' u might say) and time spent ( we wasted alot of time.. from 7am to 6pm u know) were worthwhile afterall.

This is what i called...

A TRUE UNDERDOG STORY =)

My June Holidays Reflection

9 days left to my mid-year exams. Approximately 1 week left to START studying.

Being a JC student, slacking is the last thing you should do. Because if you do, and by the time you found out that you are, you are seriously in a deep shit.
Looking back what i've done during my June holidays, i actually done nothing. i mean nothing much in terms studying.

What i did was...

  1. PPP rehearsals. Coming back to school almost everyday to practice and rehearse my lines.
  2. Soccer. Play almost every fridays and saturdays, excluding the street soccer tournament i participated recently.
  3. World Cup. Enduring the lack of sleep just to watch the 9pm and 12am matches. The 3am matches? Don't ever mention it.
  4. Attend remedials.
  5. HOCKEY TRAININGS! I hate it. Going to quit sooner or later. No interest for it. I can't even dribble till now. haha.

When im free from these five activities above mentioned, i gave myself a SHORT break by playing either the PS2 or the computer.

There are many times when i placed my revision notes on my the study table a.k.a my computer table and i ended up chatting with people in the MSN.

Yes.. its all about distractions. Being me, i want to achieve as many goals as i can.. like what i always want to in the soccer field.

For now, i should take one step at a time. Focus and discipline is all i need. Yes, THAT's ALL. That two little tiny mini things. And of coz.. being consistent. So, gear up and..... im ready to go!

Today's date is o6/o6/o6.

What's that symbolises?

According to what i heard from my father, which Christian followers believe, its the day of the DEVILS.
The day when the devils are born.
But as a Muslim, i won't believe in such things.
Every each day we are living in is a blessing from Him.
Isn't that right?
I don't think there are any days in any months in any years which is a curse to mankind.

*Next Topic*

I had my NSSL tournament two days back. My team played in the "OPEN" category because one of my teammates is my friend's father. If not, we will be playing in the "Under-17" category instead.

To cut story short, my team lost again in the Quarter-Finals. To come to think of it, i played with three different teams in three occasions playing in the same competition. Back in 2002, i teamed up with my KPS friends and we won the 3rd place. In 2004, i teamed up with my CCKSS friends and we managed to reach the quarter-finals, losing only to the eventual champions.
Last year, i remembered playing in this street soccer tournament "3 Goals KO" with my CCKSS friends and we reached the final when we finally lost and got 2nd. That's the best achievement i've gotten so far in my street soccer 'career' so far. and yeah! I won the "Player of the Tournament" in that competition too. =) action je si khai nie. haha.

On last Saturday, when to 'Gentarasa 2006' , a Malay Art's Performance. Lots of traditional malay dances, Dikir Barat and we even get the chance to play 'Kentung Buluh' during the show itself. Very interesting. However, there are some deliberate mistakes done by the performers, probably still not enough practice. haha. sorry.
As an overall, I still like their Dikir Barat because they were very well-organised and interesting to watch. If PJC's Kancah Purba can reach their standard, I salute man!

Plans for tommorow:
Just now, I was invited by Alia to go to the Singapore Idol's piano show tomorrow. She had many free tickets initially because Rahimah Rahim's is her cousin. So, tomorrow i will need to go there with some other CCKSS friends ; Syafiq, Hafizudin and Fhaizal if im not wrong, to support Rahimah Rahim!

Erm.. but one question. Although i will be sitting in Rahimah Rahim's supporter stands, can i support other contestants instead? Please don't bash me if i do.

Finally, term break!

Hi everyone!

Finally, i have some time to blog since now im having my term break. Fuhh! Finally. But of course, it will not be a full one month of holiday. I still need to prepare fully for my mid-year exams which start right after the holidays. Luckily my GP paper is done, so 1 down, 5 more to go. Physics, Chemistry, Maths, Malay and Malay Lit.
Not to forget, my Project Work (PW) is yet to be done, the surveys, interviews etc.

So, i've created a my holiday schedule, and it looks like i have only 15 days of holiday. Really need to make full use of it. And today, it is one of the days. So 14 days left. Today nothing much, So no need to talk about it. Just do some revising on my chemistry, which i really need to buck up. Hai.

Last week i had quite an enjoyable weekend. On Saturday, i went out with her. =p Went to watch ' Over the Hedge' and spend some time doing some window-shopping with her. Nice experience for me. You should know why, because frankly i had never went out with a girl on a 'date' before this and worse still, walk around in Orchard Road. I can't imagine myself lost there. I'm just not used to. Even the Flilipino maids there are more expert than me. haha.

On Sunday, went for the New Paper Big Walk. Its my third year consecutively going for the event. This time, i didn't joined for the competitive one, fun-walker only. Went there with my CCKSS friends; firdaus, ismarian, amin and his cousins. Walk walk walk, Talk talk talk. And i accidentally made Firdaus to trip and fall at the finishing line. haha. So embarassing. We were sprinting ( We were supposed to walk, but the eagerness to finish a.s.a.p overcome us) for the last 100m or so and thats how it happened. Sorry Fir. I try not to do that again in for any future Big Walk events. haha. We were too tired take MRT so take bus 985 from Kallang all the way to CCK interchange. I think got around 1 hour of journey. We slept all the way, conquering the back the bus. Nice. We had our lunch at LJS in Lot 1 and finally went home after that. Although i describe this rather sounds uninteresting, the journey back from Kallang to CCK was fun. With the cooling air-conditioner and the large space at the back of the bus just make me feel like home. hahaha.

Alright lah, i stop here. This June holidays really need to catch up on my studies. Not to forget, World Cup too. =p

P.S: X-Men III the best movie i've seen so far!

A Fallen Hero

Khairul --
[noun]:

A person with a sixth sense for detecting the presence of goblins

'How" will you be defined in the dictionary?' at QuizGalaxy.com
wow! i can sense the presence of ghost. Hmm.. interesting.
Well, last two weeks, i had an anti-climax moment. I just bought a bubble tea at the bubble-tea shop at Yew Tee when i heard somebody screaming in Hokkien, asummingly asking for help.
I was just going up on my bike that time, and you know what?! A thief had snatched her handbag!
I thought " Wow!.. finally i have an oppurtunity to become a hero", so i gave chase.... on my bike i mean. And it was a wrong move.
As i was approaching him nearer and nearer( he was damn slow man! He was jogging rather than running), unfortunately, my bike hit a curb when i steered it to the side and yes, i flew off to the ground.
haha.
By the time i looked up and tried to gave chase again, he was nowhere in side.
Wasted.
Just imagine if i caught that guy............
Hmm. Probably my face will come out in the next day's newspaper front page.
OR
Obituary. Who knows.. He might armed with knives or guns.
It may be a blessing in disguise when that happened.
Moral Of The Story: It's very difficult to become a hero in reality.

Kuala Lumpur Trip.. A memorable one!

Yo Everybody!

It has been a very long time since i blogged. haha. Well, busy lah as always. You all should know me right? haha. like real.

Alright2, last week i didnt manage to blog because i was away on a a short vacation to Kuala Lumpur!

My family went there with my other 24 cousins, uncles and aunties. Our main motive to go there was actually to attend my malaysian cousin's wedding function. She was the younger sister to a Malaysian actress, so that means i have a cousin who is an actress in Malaysia! Wow.. interesting. haha. I don't know that actually coz i rarely met them.

Friday- 8.30pm
We all meet up at Jurong East Interchange to get our tour bus there. The bus was like totally belong to 30 of us! haha.. so bro and me occupied the sits at the back of the bus. Yeah.. Conquer the whole back seats!

Journey there was fine, except that i didnt manage to look around Malaysia coz it was very dark at night. Lack of lamp posts probably. Heh. Journey there took at least 5 hours when we finally reached Petaling Jaya. took photos of the KLCC and went around in a chocolate factory. Interesting you noe! they made many different types chocolate. Durian chocs and even tongkat Ali chocs!

We met an indian fortune teller during our shopping trip. My father decided to try it out for fun although we didn't believe him. haha. But interesting ah. He used his parrot to take a card from this deck of cards and he would read it out to you. I think its more like the parrot is the fortune teller rather than himself. haha.

That night, we went for the wedding function. The event was quite grand, coz it was held in a convention hall and the MC was a Malaysian DJ from what i heard from my father. The food was exquisitely decorated and mouth-watering, like this one...

Sunday

We had our breakfast in the hotel itself. Ouh yar, we slept in Hotel Brisbane. Not very high-class lah. Around 3 stars like that. haha. Ok what.

Half of the people only in this pic. The rest i think still sleeping peacefully. haha.

Went to P.Ramlee bungalow house. It was re-designed to become a museum about him. As for those chinese ppl out there, just for your info, he was a the well-known Malaysian actor, director, singer, script-writer, poet and alot more. But he passed away years ago when he was only 45 years of age. It was a sentimental moment went we enter his house. The songs played especially 'Getaran Jiwa' in the atmosphere made me realise how much he really meant to the Malay Community. I really hope to visit it again in the future. Unfortunately, i can't take any photos from the inside coz it was forbidden.

We went to Berjaya TimeSquare right after that purely to enjoy the indoor amusement park inside. It is called ' Cosmo's World Theme Park' . We played alot of games and rides till many of us became giddy. haha. and I took on all the rides man! fearless seh. haha. Why did i say that? Coz many of us backed out after 2 rides but i continued further on to complete the whole 6 rides there. haha. nice. including the indoor roller coaster, longest ever in Asia!

After that, we went on to shop at Petaling Street where we spend almost 3 hours there. haha. If not because of the tour bus waiting for us, i think we would spend more time there. Simply because the things there are all super cheap! Since i was too engrossed in shopping, i didnt take any pictures. haha.

That night, we went back to our hotels before finally getting ready for our final reunion dinner at ChowKit Restaurant with our malaysian cousins, aunties and uncles. We ate alot of Malay traditional dishes such as Ikan Bakar, Ulam-ulam and Siput Sedut. Simply marvellous!

It was our last day in KL. Before returing back to Singapore, we still manage to shop for an hour in Nilai Tiga. By the time, many of us just stayed in the tour bus. Too tired to shop lah probably. But not my aunt coz she forced me to accompany her to buy some clothings and bags. haha. We had our lunch there too and FINALLY we were on our way home back to Singapore. That's when we had our 4 hours of karaoke session in the bus. haha. stylo ah. Got TV and micorphone wat. So make full use of it lah.

Hockey Matches + Auditions + Visit Old Friend + Things Happening Next Week!

Ok, so what now? i can't think of stories to write. haha. Well, our PJC hockey drew with TPJC 0-0 on friday and lost to VJC 0-4. TPJC were very very lucky indeed. Cant even enter our half. haha. So, eventually, we were booted out form the tournament. haiz. Nvm. Next year its my turn to take over the team. haha. Chey!.

Today, i went for an audition for the Malay Cultural Society(MCS). They wanted to get actor and actresses to act in their BlackBox Production. Im not sure what is it but it was compulsory for all JC1s to come for the audition. So, i went i reached there, we were given a script and told to form a group of 4 ppl. My group consists of Ismarian, Atiqah and Yanty, which all are ex-ccksians. haha.

We practised for 30 mins when it was finally our turn to perform in front of the judges. We were interviewed individually before that. And the judges took such a long time interviewing me and when it came to the other 3 of them, they just asked one two questions and it was done. They even asked me this " I heard that your father is an actor, so do you think his talents are being inherited by you?" And i answered, " erm.. yar. Probably some." sweet and simple. haha.

So we performed and my role, luckily, was very easy. I had only one part where i need to be angry and scolded Ismarian. That's all. haha. And for Ismarian role, he got many difficult parts especially when he need to be angry, sarcastic and even cry. haha. and he carry out his role very well i admit. Confirm the judges like it lah.

After the auditions, Ismarian, Hafiz Y. and Me went to Harris house to visit him. Well, when we arrived, he just came back from his medical check-up. Yeah. about his fractured arm lah. So goood boy that's why. He showed us the X-rays he undergo before the operation. and you know what?! His bone really break into half therefore, they need to put metals and nails to fixed it. Woah, i won't get into fights with him man! He may just swing his arm and hit me with his metal- improvised arm.

And he even showed us the pictures, during the operation. and it was really gross! not for the faint-hearted, really. It shows one part whent he doctor cut open his hand. With few other photos showing the process when the surgeons cut through the 7 layers of his muscle before we can finally see his broken bone. I mean we were literally seeing his broken bone in that picture! And it was totally broken into half, not crack, not even fracture. Seeing is believing man. Now i know why it is so big deal to be a surgeon. You need to be precise in cutting open the person's body, without really cutting his veins and lose his or her blood for nothing.

Okok, stop man. I shoudn't say these things in my blog. haha. Btw, i have a long list of events happening next week. I tell you all now coz i don' think i will be able to update for next week's post.

Firstly, i have a debate competition in my class this coming wednesday. the topic " Divorce is the best answer for a failed marriage" . And i need to agree with that statement. haha. It will be much much more difficult for my team to support our stand.

Next, we going to have our green bazaar this wenesday from 11.30 to 3.30pm. Im not sure whether it is open to the public, but i really hope it will. So you guys can come down to PJC! The theme is 'Reuse, Reduce, Recycle' .. so expect us to sell things which are made by ourselves. haha. pathetic. Well, I myself not sure what my class had come out with.

And, you know what? I was selected among 10 students in PJC to pose for our this year PJC's brochure. haha. Stylo man.

Lastly, next friday im going for a short holiday to Kuala Lumpur for 3 days till monday, which is labour day on monday i think. My malaysian cousin married lah. So we go there and have our short holiday on the same time. haha. nice. So anyone wants me to kirim or buy anyhing for you? Just tell me ya.. haha.

Klah, take care guys. Getting my physics test result on monday. hai. Just hope for the best. Selamtz ah everybody!..

Things Happening This Week!

Finally, i have some time to update my blog. haha. and I have many things to say man! haha. alright2. I will cut it short if necessary.

Well, firstly, today i had my first ever debut hockey match against SAJC!.. woohoo!.. Gerek man. Do you understand what i mean by that? YES.. i actually get to represent Pioneer JC in that match. wow! what a great experience. Well, haha, actually we lost though. Wait2, before you say anything, let me explain why we lost.

First half, we were technically better than them although both sides fielded their strongest line-up. So it was quite a competition, and yes, PJC was better. seriously speaking one. haha. And you know what?! We did not even have an adult looking after us there. i mean no teacher-in charge. No coach. I don't know why. And SAJC even made their coach to become the referee for the game. So, ermm.. got a bit of kayu ah. haha. So for half result, 0-0.

Then came the second half, our captain decided to let us, JC1s, to have a chance to play. So, as expected, we screwed. haha. What do you expect man?! 3/4 of the team were totally unexperienced. We were playing like lost sheeps in the middle of the park. And i was sliding around to tackle them as if like soccer liddat. I even accidentally control the ball with my leg once. haha. We really made a fool of oursleves seh. Corner kick also dunno how to take. I carried my stick too high during running and accidentally hit this SAJC guy's head. and he got injured. stretchered out. haha. So, i decided to made up my disabilities in these areas with my speed and stamina, running around pressurizing and tackling them, instead of providing the ' crosses' in attack. Well, for you info, i played left midfield just now. haha. And the final score. PJC: 0, SAJC: 5. sorry guys. don't want to boast about the results too much. haha.

Ok, that's all about today's match. Yesterday, we had our cckss malay gathering in WEST COAST. do some bbq-ing. i don't know why i was soo hardworking yesterday that i bbq-ed the whole day without really get the time to enjoy with my friends. haiz. but nvmlah. i still enjoy it. =)

And2, recently, my hockey training we had to take a beep test, to check on our stamina level. I got 12.10. in which i lost to this guy from JC2 who gotten 13.2. woah! so good sia him. But oklah, i really satisfied with my own performance. heeh. =p

And last tuesday, i had my first ever class test in PJC. haha. which is CHEMISTRY! no comment about that. haiz. hopefully can PASS. take note of that. i was hoping for a pass. really. very difficult man.

The highlight: My handphone rang when we were having that test. We were having it in LT4, the biggest lecture room in PJC, and at least 500 students were taking test that time. haha. sooo paiseh man. I set the alarm clock in my hp to ring every 6.30pm on weekdays cause i like to have my afternoon naps you see. And when it rang, everybody looked at me! I also looked back at them lah. haha. Luckily i managed to switch it off in time and the invigilator did not conficscated it. haha. fuuh! close shave.

So, that's all the events i can think of right now. haha. kk, i don't want to write to much. Later you will be sleeping halfway reading this post. haha. alright2. Take care everybody!

My 8 years Stint In Soccer Finally Ended

Hiya guys!

Thank so much for all the tagging, advices and craps that you had been flooding in my tagboard. I really appreciate that. Just continue the good work man! haha.

Just an update for this week.

First things first, i was chosen to be in the PJC hockey team. haha. kental betul lah. Not my ideal CCA of coz. My proposal for soccer was rejected. haha. that's why no choice need to join hockey. Rugby too rough, volleyball too sissy, so left with hockey. I went for the trial one time, and the next day, my name was put up in their noticeboard, list of students being selected. style. But frankly speaking ah, i was actually hoping that my name won't come out, because i was planning to join Lan Gaming as my CCA. Like interesting liddat. Every CCA day can play Counter-Strike one. haha.

Yesterday we won 1-0 against IJC. haha. Yeah! Farz, ur JC weak ah. haha. And last week, we won 4-1 against AJC too. Style ah. Quite good seh my hockey team... although i never play. If i play.... confirm.. erm.. u know what i mean. not good lah of coz. Ball control of the ball like what already. haha. Still practising you see. It takes time my friend.

Aniway, rugby ah. I decided to drop out. So rough like wat seh. If only my body like The Rock can lah. I suffered bruises on my right shoulder and knees after that one and only rugby trial. haha. So, i don't want to take risk ah. Even my cckss friend, Tuafiq, once told me that his friend lost his front tooth because of rugby. huhu. i don't wan to suffer such thing. Later not handsome. haha.

Alright2, i really got to go now. Sleepy already man. take care my friends!

An Unforgettable Journey

You know what? This is my 101th post since i started blogging. Wow! I can't believe i had been writing so much for the past 2 years.

I read my old post, started in 2004 till now, and it makes me realize how much i experienced and matured throughout this short period of my life. Espeically in sec 4, i recalled the memories when my CCKSS soccer team made a such great feat, levelled with the 1999 CCKS batch, qualifying for the Quarter-Finals. The Big Walk competition in which my team play-cheated and eventually won the 22nd position. And last but not the least, the memories with her. (",) Till this day, i still saved up the msn conversations we had in this computer. That's why i can't afford to reboot this com. The memories really meant so much to me. Its nice to see and recalled back those days when i tried to tackle and win her heart. Funny though if i recalled carefully, because we rarely met each other. Even in school i was very shy to see her face-to-face. Although we are physically distance away from each other, inside me, she is very close to my heart. Somehow, there's always this feeling that she is the one meant for me. :)

However, there are bad memories too. Although it is not nice to recall those memories, i made hyphotesis, gambled, and learnt the best way to handled those setbacks, problems and pressures. The memories about the things i juggled and struggled during my sec 4 education. My amath which used to fail all the time up till to my prelims and still never gave up, and eventually getting an A2 for it. The disappointment for being the most 'OUTstanding' student in my class, making my form teacher, Mrs Phillip to suffer high blood pressure because of me. haha. Those were the days.

For now, i just need to focus on the path ahead of me. There are more exciting things to be unvealed and im very optimistic about it. I hope it will be a good one for me.

Rugby Trials ( But Soccer is still my first priority!)

Before i start on today's post, i would like to thank 'passerby' for all the advices he/she had given me. I'm very grateful. I really hope that you will tell me your identity. =) Thanks so much. Aniway, i decided to move on. Although my heart still meant for her, i can't do anything more. God knows better and i just want Him to do whats best for me. Perhaps, if fated, we will be together again. Insyaallah. But for now, we are friends. (",)

Anyway, today was my first rugby trial in PJC. It was great though. I was expecting it to be tough, and it did happened. hai. We had our 4.8km run otuside PJC, running past CCKSS, CCK park, CCK stadium, behind the longkang and back to PJC. There were CCKSS track n field and netball players who were too running towards the CCK park. Yes, i do hope to see her jogging too. haha. But too bad. Never see her.

So, when we finally reached back PJC, we had to cover 800m more, 2 times around the track. BUT, you know what we need to do on the same time? We had to jog and carry the 3 heaviest people( the 3 last runners in the 4.8km run) on 3 separate stretchers. I was instructed to carry this 110kg guy along with 5 other people. It was soo tiring, but as a wise man says, " no pain, no gain." haha. Good for me.

We practised on the passing of the rugby ball( not easy you know, need to spin it too), formations, and yes, the right way to bring down your opponent. The training something like this; you become the victim first. run with the ball charges towards the guy who is going to brought you down. Accelerate towards him. And let him ' spear' you. It happened again and again. Yes, it hurts alot especially if you're a beginner.

Lastly, we had our game. 15-a-side. My team won by 1-0( im nt sure about the points given for touchdown.. haha. but we only scored one goal)

AND YOU KNOW WHO SCORED THAT?

ME!

yeah. it such was a great feeling to score my first goal in my rugby debut. Woohoo! Win with that goal somemore. haha. I sprinted past 4 opponents before i made my touchdown. Stylo ah. =p

No matter what, soccer is still my first priority. The coach asked me to join rugby but i prefer to wait for the approval of my proposal about setting up soccer. yeah.. HIDUP MATI soccer!

Big Laugh For The Big Loser

It is the end. Im opening a new chapter of my life. I admit I made the stupidest mistake and make a fool of myself. If only i could turn back the time, i won't make such rash decisions and break her heart. If only..

In the end, dream is just a dream.

Aku redha. Sesungguhnya ada hikmah disebaliknya.

Selamtz.
